We do have a bank... and quite a big one at that. It's in MC near Defender. I forget which building it is, but it has plenty of storage to use.

That's not what he was talking about, and no, it is not big enough to hold crafting mats, let alone anything else you want to hold. Hell, mine's full of just tier 3 and 4 mats alone. He was speaking of buying additional slots for the bank, which is planned for the future, but no date is set as of yet.

well according to the developer chat from a couple weeks ago the not having additional bank slots available is a bug so hopefully it gets fixed soon

Yeah I hope it does get fixed soon. I'm level 40 and have LOTS of stuff, every piece of which is useful to my toon, and I'm out of space... So now I'm having to sacrifice stuff because I have no where else to store things.

I am posting in this thread in hopes that maybe we can remind the Devs how much we want this.

I really need another bank slot.

My bank is also completely stuffed full of crafting materials, and could use many more slots. (or something to craft I guess...)

I have to agree that the lack of slots is causing pain points. I also want a bank in each zone. I load up on stuff, go back to make room in my inventory by crafting stuff and all it does is keep my inventory full. It is quite frustrating. Why not have a banker in canada and the desert?

I wouldn't mind a few more slots but really you don't need to hang on to all those crafting mats. I save maybe a stack of 50 each and sell the rest and still never run out.

I've taken advantage of being in charge of an SG to completely hijack one of the SG's bank tabs to store my surplus materials.

At one point I paid people to join my team so that I could create a Super group for the only purpose of having more bank slots (they promptly left the SG after helping me form it).

We need this bug fixed so bad. As far as bugs go (and I'm no expert), it seems that this wouldn't be to difficult to fix, especially since it was previously thought to be working by the Devs (in the dev chat).

ALSO this would help out the Auction House, since many people are using it as a bank by posting they're crap in there for HUGE prices knowing that no one will buy them.

Let's get it done!

It was stated in a dev chat, not the most recent one but the one before that, that this was a bug. Bill Roper said that if you are not able to purchase more bank slots with resources already then it's a bug. Pretty sure it should be working the same way Super Group bank slots work.

<~COquestionbot> Are there any futher plans to make the bank storage bigger? I am taking over the storage in the SG bank atm, and getting hasslehoff for it!
<+Chronomancer> Hmmmm... if you can't already exchange resources for more bank slots, I think that's a bug. We'll track that down after the chat.

This was on September 24th and I've seen nothing on the forums from devs about this, or a fix listed in the PTS patch notes or anything. I hope this get resolved soon. I am out of space just with crafting materials and storing additional materials in my last inventory bag.

Right now because there is no expiry date and no cost to sell items, people are resorting to storing items in the market because we are limited to one bank slot. I have also done this at one point. Has anyone reached or heard of an upper limit on items you can have posted in the market? I had at least 25 items/stacks of items for sale at one time, not sure if there is a cap or not...

Any update on this? Personally I would have rather seen this fixed than the Powerhouse change.

And as long as we are bringing up old bugs, what about the mail eating items? I can't even share alt bank space since I'm afraid of things getting vaporized.

send to an alt?

Not really a safe option since the mail bug still appears to exist. I checked the in game /bug and people are still reporting mailing items and having them not show up. The official response is that Cryptic does not recommend using in game mail to mail items and if you lose anything there is no way to get it back.

Fortunately I have not had this happen with the few things I've sent, and the reports of it happening have dropped dramatically, so much so that most have forgotten that this bug has not been fixed, which is why I brought it up again :) But it certainly still appears to happen and there is no explanation or ETA on a real fix, much like the bank space issue.
