Is there a way to force a NPC to move? I'm trying to complete a quest, and a NPC is stuck on a wall and I dont get credit for freeing him until he leaves the room.
And its a help a citizen I dont wanna have to redo. Grr. What the heck?

I had this happen, the NPC ran right into the middle of a tank and just stuck there. Not enough STR to pick up the tank so I ran my character into the side of the NPC and nudged him until he was past the tank... took FOREVER to nudge him but bet the quest timer. lol

Yeah, happened to me too. I wish there was some way to just pick them up and carry them to their destination. I mean, we're strong enough, and a lot of us can fly.
Then again, those pesky escort missions would be way too easy. :)

Quicker way to do that is to pull the three viper's holding him past the tank. The NPC will run to the last Viper's death spot and wait to be talked to. Then he'll be free of the path through the tank. Figured thatout in beta final day.
I also filed a bug, oddly, it's not been fixed :P Had to do it again live two days ago..

That tank cannot be selected, nor can it be destroyed, so it doesn't move even with a ton of strength.
And yes...nudging helps. Also remember, for that particular Unity quest, and most others, the NPCs will follow you until you talk to them, and then run for the door. Go walk him over near a door, then talk.

Gotta watch out though, if you don't talk to them fast enough, sometimes they take it upon themselves to talk to you. I've had that happen when I was trying to get past a pathing issue on a citizen mission.

Assuming that creating 100% perfect pathing is impossible, could CO introduce a 'nudging' system into CO for NPCs?
