OKay, I'm a few levels away from 25 and I thought I'd post about my Characters and the Nemisises, NemisI, what's the plural for that word?
Anyway...
Interface is a telepath who's powers can work with computers, his powers emerged while testing a cybernetic interface, projecting his mind into the web while his body was in a coma. While there lost and alone he created an AI to keep him company, but being confused he didn't fully realize he had created an AI but essentially thought he had discovered someone else, as a result when he got pulled out, the AI in question also thought she was a real person trapped in the Internet, but also believed that Interface had abandoned her. She eventually maanges to hack a facility with the ability to create an new body for her. She has taken the Villain code name Matrix
Twilight. was trained by the Shadow, so she a martial artist with stealth. Her nemisis is a fellow trainee going by Silhouette. Silhouette is mixed race of east asian, possibly Korean or Vietnamese and African. She tried to counter the racism she grew up with by being more Asian than the Asains, and part of that was Martail Arts. When an American was chosen as her trainer's successor she resented it and vowed vengeance.
Quickling: Okay Quickling never had a real nemisis, when I played her in the Pen and Paper game she ended up hunteds by generic stuff like viper, so I'll just explain her origin. Quckling is a homunculus created as a tool. She had the capacity for self awareness but her "Soul" was split between her actual body and a a crystal that could be used to control her. She fought several heroes who eventually captured the crystal and used it to order her to detroy it. The result was that she gained sentience and a personality based on the amalgimation of the last 3 people who had touched the crystal (3 heroes in this case), The result was a speedster with a slightly twisted personallity. I don't have a specific nemisis for her so I'm taking suggestions
Montana: Montana is a brick whose powers stem from the fact that shes a decended/avatar of Gia the Earth goddess. She's also part native American and I'm thinking of having her nemisis be an Artifact thief. Byakko, another hero, Is a kitsune and preistess of Inari (the Shinto RIce god/goddess).and I'm thinking of having her villian be the same as Montana's
Jade Dragon. A real dragon in human form, came to Earth to escape an arranged marrage to an evil Dragon named Onyix. He's come to Earth to track Jade down.
Any ideas on how to set up these nemisises?
