Let's see round two - I'd like to see the piece bigger with more space around the character so that you have more to play with. As it is right now, the lines of the composition make the eye look at the guys knee instead of somewhere important. :) Other than that, the technical aspects are great.

lol I found an old scetch pad, cuz i was gunna post a few of my own drawings form back in the day.
LOLZ but they looked alot better in my memorys than they actually do today in front of me :P

Indeed. And even those with talent don't amount to anything if they don't practice, learn, and refine. Experience can compensate for talent but talent can not compensate for experience.

And you don't have to draw find something you enjoy doing - I can draw simi-ok but I really really enjoy doing graphic design work more then drawing and painting. Which i wish I was better at but because I don't do it as much as other art I fall short.

But yeah draw draw draw, or paint paint paint, or photo manip photomanip, Take pictures take pictures take pictures...or uhm other art stuff other art stuff >.>

Oh, and to add on to Zakka's, one thing to consider too is that drawing does not necessarily only encompass people. Some people's talents lie in say.... environments or machinary or coloring. Though not as 'glamourous' as drawing people, those things are just as important and take just as much skill.

Exactly! just saddens me some times that when people think art they think, Drawing, Painting and Sculptures in the traditional sense. Buuuut I think its defiantly branching out more these days.
