View Full Version : Cryptic; Please fix broken / useless powers ASAP!

I can only speak for myself, and the frameworks ive used but its very frustrating to have to skip powers that just serve no purpose, are seriously underpowered, or just plain suck. There already touting the celestial set when we have so many garbage powers now.

How about you fix the ones already in game 1st? I'll start a list of what Ive used and dropped due to them being useless, or outperformed by something else, feel free to add yours.

I would also ISSUE A CHALLENGE to Cryptic to pull some raw data, and see whats not being used, or hardly being used and say hey, why dont you look into that before you start adding new powers?

Power Armor Framework;

Eye Beams
Chest Beam
Shoulder Launcher

All 3 are useless, underpowered powers. I see some people take chest beam and when I ask them why, its just for theme, many take force cascade or gigabolt for their chest beam power instead. Shoulder launcher takes FOREVER to go off, and its just 1 volley, for sub par dps. It could be cool if it fired off more then 1 volley, or if its meant to be an alpha, it needs to go off faster and do alot more dps. Ane we all know what they did to eye beams, even in conjunction with 2 other pa attacks, there not worth it, ppl just go with concussor beams instead.

Please add your powers you would like to see made more viable/ useful.

Its true, I selected Power Armor as my nemesis power set, and he is totally gimp.

I don't even feel like a hero anymore beating up him or his minions. In fact I kinda feel like a school yard bully picking on the slow kid.

I'm pretty sure I have never seen a character with any of the Martial Art slotted passives (besides lightning reflexes), or any of the Supernatural Slotted passives (besides regen).
