My drawings thread has long since fallen off the end of the forum, so I'm starting another (not connected to the free pics thread. This is for my stuff :))

This is an extended doodle of one of my Champions characters, Ironhand Jack. His influences are obvious, but he's fun to play, and as a member of Department S, is currently running away from Gorillas on Monster Island...

Thanks Squidbot, I do bits and pieces. I'm acting as a 'guest artist' on a web-comic (my run will start in a month or so), I've produced some art for a Hero Games book, and have a comic-book secret project in the offing...

I'm in-game quite a lot, but just tend to be in whatever instance is least full! In-game I'm @DrDestiny

I have roughly pencilled-up a 2-page strip featuring Ironhand Jack! The pic above was a character sketchy doodle for that piece, which will hopefully be finished one day :)

Here's another couple of pieces; I did the character designs for Lucha Libre Hero (available in all good game shops) and here's an additional Lucha character, done for a friend who's running Convention games over there in the US;

Try to pick up the Hero Games Lucha Libre role-playing suppliment - it's a lot of fun and has some nifty pics in (ahem)

A quick portrait of Thor's Assassin - the Champions Online version, done for a couple of reasons; Firstly, I think it's a rule that everyone has to do a version. I think it's a law. Secondly, TA has put his character up for my 'free 9 pics in November' thing I'm doing for Champions, but has so many pics already, I'm disqualifying him from that nine, so this is a consolation... hopefully.

Bombshell, for The Mighty Foo!

This isn't really my usual style at all, so coments and criticism are very welcome! She's supposed to be made of solid, shiny metal, but I don't really think I got that down right.

A quick pic of Feral Kat from some other boards... Done without permission, and I hope she doesn't mind, but I'm using forum characters to try out a few things.

I will probably go in and colour this, but was reasonably pleased by how it looked at this stage.

A coloured version of Katfood25's ( linky (http://katfood25.deviantart.com/) ) character, Feral Kat.

These quickies are really more for me to try out different things - in this case, painted fully in photoshop, which I normally never do, and to that end, I'm sneakilly raiding various forums and stealing their characters. This one's from the City of Heroes boards.

And thank you Mumsie!

Another quickie sketch, once again, with the character blatently stolen - this one was created by Shades of Grey (grey linkie (http://the-shades-of-gray.deviantart.com/)).

Very much a work in progress, with only the linework really complete, and some playing around on the face. Normally I hide this kind of playing about on my hard drive, safe from anyone, but with these I'm after feedback, so I know if I'm on the right track or not.

Every link to DA that I ever clicked lead me to either some kind of horrid dragon furry creature or anime drawing; every single one of the people that came up with those atrocities called themselves artists. I felt the shame that they didn't for calling their filth "art".
I am glad to see that in a sea of neverending sewage there can exist someone with your talents.

Finished colour version. At least as finished as any of these quick test pics gets!
Comments and criticism very welcome!

Hi again everyone!

This is just a Work-in-Progress. I don't really do too many supers now, and I thought I should get back into practice. As part of that, I've started a sketch of the Champions character Sapphire. Me being me, and the character being a bit of a fashionista, I have fiddled with the outfit slightly. Colours (and more detailed inking) to come.

Sapphire is © Cryptic Studios, Inc
