This thread is a discussion about how your character and your nemesis fit together, were they friends? perhaps lovers? or even siblings? This is more a thread for the RP'ers out there, even if your not its just for a bit of fun :)

My Character: Meta Kenesis (Jenny Metan), a gifted Telepath/Telekenetic born during a freak storm in the middle of summer in England, she was born as a twin, her sister being a powerful and gifted sorceror, Whereas her sister Psy Kenesis (Jennifer Metan) hungered to harness her gift no matter the cost, Meta Kenesis moved to Millenium City in hopes of learning to understand her gift and harness it to help others.

My Nemesis: Psy Kenesis (Jennifer Metan) the twin sister of Meta Kenesis (Jenny Metan) and a powerful sorceror, she came to millenium city following her sister in the knowledge that wherever her sister was, there was a power to be harnessed, Psy Kenesis uses her power over the arcane and her beauty to enthrall the minds of others and uses them to hunt down her sister in the hopes they can stop her from finding out Psy Kenesis'es true plans....The hopes of stealing Meta Kenesis'es Telepathic gift and keeping it for herself.

Now lets see yours ;)

Not much of an RPer myself, but I have created a bit of a storyline behind my character and his nemeses.

My character is a second generation hero named Silver Kitten. He got that name after teaming with his father as a teenager.

His first nemesis was Bronze Kitten, his younger brother who never got to team up with their father. He turned to a life of crime. Before he got jailed he did manage to create a robot named Kitten of War which was a later nemesis. Then there is Pearl Kitten which is an evil alternate universe version of Silver Kitten. The rest of the nemeses are just random guys with no real back story with my character.

<--- I introduce you to Seducabuss (my avatar), she's from another dimension, as you can see on her red skin. She's like the traditional Succabus just more intelligent and seducing. No one knows why she is here, and she's not telling anything. She is a user of eldritch magic and darkness. She likes to kill robots because she thinks they're a proof of the weakness in technology, or just to kill any other kind of crime out there. As a hobby she likes to seduce men, "play" with them, and then kill thim with her dark abilitys.

Her first nemisis is Father Cogwheel. He is a genius maniac who wants to know everything about everything. One of his enemies is Seducabuss. For alot of reason, eldritch magic user being one of them, being seducing another. LET THE FIGHT BEGIN.

I've already made her next nemisis. Tadphinix, a blue ice demon with alot of spikes. She comes from an another realm like Seducbuss. Actually she is her sister by blood. As much as blue and red are contradictions, Seducabuss and Tadphinix are contradictions. Tadphinix gone mad and wanna kill all humans. While Seducabuss wanna keep them as her personally toys. LET THE (*****)FIGHT BEGIN.

Well, since my char was more of a fun/joke concept, you'll have to not take this too seriously:

Hero:
Little Helper
was working for Santa Claus' X-mas Inc. corporation and came to the real world to clear up the naughty list the hard way.

Nemesis 1:
Rudolpho the Renegade Reindeer
had to flee the North Pole after the Finance Department of X-mas Inc. uncovered his milk, cookie and brandy smuggling operation.

Nemesis 2:
The Bunninator
hates Santa Claus and Humanity and seeks revenge on both for not giving the fizzy drink advertising campaign to the easter bunnies, instead having red trucks with a jolly fat man on every TV screen throughout December.

Nemesis 3:
Doll Soldier
wanted to enter the Toy Soldier army, but was denight entry by X-mas Inc. regulations on the grounds of "Girls don't play with toy soldiers and boys don't play with dolls." Out of anger she turned into a Voodoo Doll and is now fighting for a doll's right to bear arms.

That's it for now.
I made a typo in the third nemesis' name and she is running around as Doll Sodlier :(
That ruined the fun for me for now, so I haven't bothered with Nemesis content for a while.

The Hero: Biff Smackwell. A large mountain of a man, this big brute likes to clean the streets with what God gave him: Fist 1 and Fist 2. Solving numerous crimes and defeating the baddest of bad guys, Biff has punched his way into the spotlight. He is admired the whole world around (for his brawn, not his "brains"), and even has TV spots.

The Nemesis: Biff Smackwell and Peter Poundhard were school buddies in early life. They discovered they had great strength when their powers emerged when they were in their late twenties. Being something of antisocial loners, they parted ways when it came to crime fighting. Peter took on the name Captain Winner, and went off to solve crimes and take down mob bosses and the like, clearing whole cities of crime. One fateful day, Peter saw one of Biff's TV spots, and wondered why he didn't get any recognition like Biff did. As time went on, Biff's fame drove Captain Winner mad, as his lust for fame grew larger. Now, Captain Winner will do anything for fame, whether it be saving people from gangsters, or downright villainy. In his mind, anything he does for fame is justified.

Three of my characters all share the same nemisis. Two of them are dogs who were turned into cyborgs by an evil scientist, Reaper and Render and the last one is their master, Talon. I've written a probably too long bio for them. In any case he sends the dog cyborgs to attack their previous master. Talon had an EMP generator on hand that hit two cyborgs scrambling their programming allowing them to reconnect with their master. The two dog androids attack the Nemesis when he tried to finish the job himself. Barely alive the nemisis returns to his lab and tells his computer to put his brain into another android. Thus the villain known as Deathshrike is born. Talon, a brilliant scientist herself expands the minds of the two dogs allowing them to have human like intelligence, but with minds relatively young. So to handle thousand pound robots she develops a power suit so she can raise them. Years later all three are reborn as heroes.

The my first nemesis was called Hunter, a psychotic gentleman who is obsessed with catching rare animals. so when he heard about my main (a sort of celestial lion thing called RAAWWR) he had to capture him as his greatest trophy ever.

My second nemesis was meant as an opposite to RAWR. A tall thin human called Rigor Mortis with darkness powers. I haven't thought out a deeper story yet, other than Rigor Mortis just wants to end all humanity ass we know it.

My third one is a renegade powerarmor army officer. No real story yet, but im trying to figure how he fits into everything

Both my main toons are based off my favorite NFL team...the Seahawks. They both bear the team's colors-Bright Green, Dark Blue and White. My villains are from the Seahawks division.

My Munitions toon "C-Hawx" has a villain called Ninerz (afer the San Fran. 49ers) that is cowboy looking like their RL mascot and bears their team colors-Gold and Red. He has cowboy minions.

My Dual Blade (ninja) "Hawx Talon" has a villain that is a doppleganger called Ramzes that is Dark Blue, Gold and White; named after the St. Louis Rams. The only "physical" difference is Ramzes has the big horns to mimic the look of a ram. He has ninja minions.

My character 'Submissive' came to earth following a distress call from a scientist, she helped avert the crisis and fell in love with both the planet and the scientist.

Her nemesis is 'The Master' a cruel and maniacal ex-partner who followed her to Earth and will stop at nothing to have her under lock and key once more.

My main is Gold Aegis, a guy in mystically enhanced powered armor. His nemesis is a crazy gadgeteer named Mech Annie who is out to cause chaos with her army of robots. They didn't know each other at all until he started interfering with her plans, but now they have a serious mutual dislike going on. He's heroic and thinks she is misusing her genius by being a villain, while she not only considers him a fool for being a "do-gooder" but also is disgusted by his "debasing" of technology by using magic. Nothing personal, just two people with completely opposing viewpoints who keep getting in each other's way.

My Main: He's a half-human alien, looks completely human, is still in his very early 20s. He fires lasers from his hands, controls peoples' minds, and throws cars through force of will alone. He's completely insane and has no fear of death: he tried to invade Earth at one point, but when he failed, his army never came back for him. He was Earth's problem now, and a problem he was: he can kill thousands with his driving alone. He used to be evil for fun, but then he fell in love. His girlfriend eroded his apathetic, psychotic ways to an extent, and now he genuinely wants to help people, much to the chagrin of everyone involved. It's hard to tell whether he's trying to kill you or help you out most times, but his ludicrously dangerous antics usually end well for all involved, despite having many unintended consequences along the way.

His Nemesis: His girlfriend's ten-year-old sister. She HATES Hero's guts and can't stand the idea of her sister being in love with an alien, especially not one like him. By day, she tries to convince big sister to come to her senses, and by night, she tries to make sure Hero's next crime-fighting spree is his last. She's proficient with a variety of deadly firearms, from simple pistols to a freaking gatling gun. No one could have ever seen it coming. She seems too nice, small, and adorable to want to hurt anyone. To the Hero, though, the fact that she's capable of such good, and yet such malice, is what has him terrified of her. To date, she remains the only thing that's ever scared him.

Hero: Gillian Hanrahan, aka Knight Court, is a disgruntled former prosecutor for the US Attorney's Office and SCA member who decided to take the law into her own hands with a suit of mechanized chainmail.

Nemesis: Kimiko Nakamura, aka Technicality, a child prodigy who fell to the allure of mad science and got locked up in juvie; Gillian was the prosecutor. Kimiko just turned 18, so she's free to go back to her old ways, and decided to take revenge on that stuck-up *****. She manages to trace Gillian's activities as a superhero and starts wreaking havoc. She's the looney archetype using gageteer powers (that orbital cannon sure gives a nasty sunburn!).

I've been too busy playing with new different concepts in my casual play style (took me over 4 years to hit 50 in CoH) and haven't gotten to a nemesis yet, but I do have plans. Not all my characters have defined ideas for their nemesis yet, but one does.

Tempo was born Myla Prower, an average girl who just happened to possess a mutant gene. As she matured, her body began to produce and store tremendous amounts of kinetic energy. She always seemed fidgety and hyperactive and didn't know why. In time she discovered that she could channel that energy to propel her at incredible speeds, easily outpacing even her brother's sports car. She even learned that she could focus that kinetic energy and release it in bursts of forceful energy. She honed this ability by playing tennis without a racket, swatting the airborne ball with a kinetic burst. She also found that her stored energy acted as a sort of shield that protected her from some harm as well as the ravages that her super speed would have on a normal person. When she felt she was ready, she became the heroine known as Tempo and began her fledgling career.

Sam Walker was infatuated with the heroine Tempo from the moment he first saw her exploits on the nightly news. He felt that a bond existed between them and that they were meant to be together. He followed her adventures on television and the internet, but it was not enough. He began to track her movements to the point where he was stalking her and every square inch of his home was cluttered with pictures of Tempo. He followed her while she attempted to clean out a Viper nest. Tempo was unaware of his presence during the battle until he was badly injured while trying to get closer. Feeling responsible for his injury, she rushed him to the hospital. However, even she was not fast enough and he was dying. Wracked with guilt, she made the desperate decision to give him a transfusion of her own blood in hopes that it would accelerate his healing and save his life. Her gamble worked and he lived, but he was now both infatuated and disillusioned. He blamed her for letting him get injured, but was still madly in love with her. The transfusion had not only saved his life, but had also amped up his body's bio-electric energy production to incredible levels. He could now generate electric arcs as well as inheriting Tempo's speed. Torn by these raging emotions and new abilities, he became the villainous Surge. He strives to visit his vengeance upon Tempo while at the same time still feeling they were meant for one another.

Thane Dyvian was just an ordinary EE student - spent most of his time in the library or on the internet on superhero discussion boards. One day, however, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time - two demon covens were using his university's library as a neutral third-party trade point for a powerful tome of demonic sorcery spells. Thane stumbled upon the book, and unconsciously incanted one of the spells - the Sigils of the Primal Storm. They laid waste to the library, and Thane found himself drastically altered - his body looked old, but felt stronger than he'd ever known, and cat ears and a tail had sprouted as well.

Sara, a rather high-ranking demonic princess, was the one to whom the book was meant to be sold. Upon hearing that the transaction had fallen through, she meticulously traced the bloodlines of every practicing summoner in the world until she found a sorcerer with no magical terminus - Thane Dyvian. Obviously, he must be the thief! And thusly, she has hunted him ever since her discovery of his identity - relentlessly attacking him wherever he goes with the infernal armies of the Abyss.

Here's Blasphemes story and why his Nemesis is who he is:

Blaspheme was not always Blaspheme. Once, in another life, he was Nathan Cromwell until Takofanes strode across North America killing all who crossed him to swell the ranks of his undead army.

Nathan was one such doomed soul.

Blasphemes memories of that time are just vague blurs of bloodied bodies, teeth and claws and it was not until his Taskmaster, Phagus, had been defeated by the rallying heroes did consciousness and self-awareness come to Blaspheme.

Having escaped the nightmare of Takofanes' control Blaspheme found himself hunted so he hid and waited until the invasion and the horror was but a memory. During this time he re-acquainted himself with such things as books and language and soon began to harness the terrible powers Undeath had bestowed upon him.

When the Qularr invasion started, Blaspheme knew his time had come.

Phagus has orders to recover or destroy all of Takofanes wayward minions in preperation for the next assault. Blaspheme is high on the latter list due to his free-thinking and power.

I tend to RP very lightly, usually just my character's background, not to much in game. He is primarily Telepathy, with the extra holds from telekinesis, jet boots, the TK block, and PFF, went with Con/End, but for story reasons I might ditch the Con for Int since he is spose to be a genuis. I still have a free full respec floating around. I was going to do Invuln instead of PFF since it is an armored suit, but I just couldn't put Str in there, figured the con would simulate the armor since it adds HP. In CoH he was a Mind/Kin Controller that started with fly but then I worked it out due to the Kin stuff, will probably make his second travel power here Acrobatics to simulate the /Kin.

My Character: Mind Lasher, his original name was Zyfe Vitman and he was the head technician for a company called Nopal Robotics. They specialized in medical robotics but occasionally did special contracts for various organizations. Zyfe was given a difficult assignment to develop a power suit that would allow the user to interact with brainwaves, under the guise of it being for police interrogations. After he created the prototype he discovered it was to be used a military weapon. With that news he ran off with the power suit and began using it to fight crime.

Mind Lasher Image: http://www.champions-online.com/rate_my_champion/157703

My Nemesis: Falcona Nopal, She is the sister to the heir of Nopal Robotics. Her brother, Asp Nopal, was imprisoned due to the actions of "Mind Lasher" and when he was released he took control of the company by having his father killed. He then ordered Falcona to hunt down and capture Mind Lasher so they could recover "their" power suit, and give him justice for betraying them. She has robot henchmen from the company, and uses various inventions their tech department has developed (gadgeteering) to hunt down Mind Lasher.

Not sure what I will do when she gets jailed, I might make Asp come after him, or maybe make some other unknown employees of Nopal Robotics, maybe have some hired mercs or something..

Have different characters and the only real one I don't have a nemesis idea for is JudgementDay per say. (Yes I know it's supposed to be Judgment Day, but I want to use the old style British English Judgement + Day. *Toon's catch phrase is your day of judgement is at hand.*)

Amana Wolf: Current Nemesis (Dimension)

Dimension is a creation of the crystals within this pocket of the universe just to toy with Amana. They have really no form of intelligence and yet they do in some shape and/or form.

Speaking about Dimension she is a pure creation of force or will. This lending to the reason she uses force powers bound to her will. Amana really doesn't understand who she is just yet, but in time he will learn. However going further she is actually one of the 13 guards of the crystals within this universe. The other 8 guards don't have a tangible form so only really 5 exist.

Down the line I plan to have Dimension betray the crystals gaining free will of her own making her into a character. Already have the template design for her saved so I can use it later on.

Loba: Current Nemesis (Loana)

Loana and Loba are sisters with Loana being the little sister of Loba. They come from a clan of peaceful lycanthropic creatures called Lobia. Physically speaking they resemble humans except for their heads which are wolf like. Ontop of this they are usually quite tall/large some growing to be 10ft tall.

Loana and Loba being close sisters are also elemental sisters having the ability to use fire, ice, and lightning. Sadly Loana somehow became infected by the Zanba which causes unusual behavior within the Lobia. Eventually Loana ran away from the Lobia clan fearing she would hurt her sister Loba.

Loba setout to find Loana and hopefully cure her of the Zanba Infection. (Still trying to figure out if I should make the Zanba bacterial, viral, fungi, parasitic, or some other type of infection.)

Lana: Current Nemesis (Loana)

Lana is the elder sister of Loba and setout on a bit of an explorational search throughout the world. Loba only has faint memories of Lana, but Lana remember Loba as well as Loana quite well.

Sadly upon returning to her home she learned of Loana's infection by the Zanba. She setout to find Loba and assist her in curing Loana of the infection. However Lana has been instructed that if Loba and herself are unable to cure Loana of the infection she must kill Loana. There is a chance Loana's latent elemental abilities would awaken causing catastrophic results to the world.

Lana understands this and prays that it will never come to this.

As for JudgementDay i'm still considering what to name his nemesis and how to proceed. Or atleast how to proceed with it so that things are alright for my character.

I'm currently working on my third nemesis on my Main character Franklin(the one seen in my avatar)

He's a clow, whose circus was burned by an as yet unknown enemy. He's tracked the culprit to M. City and is hunting him down to avenge the death of his friends and family, and to make some balloon animals along the way.

The list so far:

The first nemesis I made for him was Robo-Franklin. He was an android built to take over for Frank in M. City while he was off doing things like fighting irradiates in the desert, and trying to get a laugh out of that way too serious paintball team the Hunter Patriots in Canada. Robo-Franklin had some issues with his AI, went crazy, built an army of robots and ripped off his humanoid face. Frank had to stop him from destroying the city.

The second was an escaped convict named Hitam. He hates clowns. He saw Frank fighting the escaped prisoners at the West Side jail on his way out and decided he had to kill him. He got his gang back together and went after Frank. Frank won.

The third: Frank, working for Interpol spent some time in Russia infiltrating a drug ring that was disguised as a circus. Once he was accepted into the circus, he was paired up with another performer named Cecil. The two performed as Strongmen, lifting heavy things, posing for the crowd, that sort of stuff. After some time, Franks investigation had finished. He took down the Ring Leader and told his partner, who was innocent in the drug trafficking, who he was. Cecil didn't take kindly to being used. Using some tricks he'd picked up from the fortune teller, he's come to America with an army of ice demons, taken the name The Russian Clownsman, and made it his goal to ruin Franklin.

I'm not exactly sure what i'll do next, I'm thinking one of the little people from his past might make a comeback but we'll see.

Hmm, my two...

Amanda Johnson is normally a quite reserved young girl who chose to battle evil after she recieved UNTIL training following an incident with her powers in High School.

Her Nemesis is Amanda's negative emotions made flesh through Amanda's psychic powers, she was created as part of her mentors deal to save Amanda's live at the cost of his own, the price Amanda paid was to lose all her memories of her mentor and to ensure this they were placed into a new vessel and given life. She is basically what Amanda could have become without Amanda's strong moral compass and constantly taunts Amanda with her missing memories.

My First Heroine Doll is a doll who was given life as part of an experiment to increase sales, her nemesis, the My First Villainess Doll was given life in a similar experiment and is simply jealous of her sister dolls popularity with children.

This thread is a discussion about how your character and your nemesis fit together, were they friends? perhaps lovers?

I made up a backstory, since there was a space for one when making the nemesis, but then the first quest made it clear that I was just a random superhero who got in the way of this villain's randomly evil schemes, so it didn't work too well. Fwiw, my nemesis backstory-- (I play a girl genius who got transformed into a half-insect by a experiment that screwed up when a cricket crawled into the injection tubes):

Nemesis: One of the world's foremost entomologists, Colette Gore, aka "The Collector", specializes in insect DNA and hive-mind theory. She champions human/insect hybrids as a means to create a subhuman slave class to perform the menial tasks of society. The Collector now seeks to prove her theories by netting the ultimate prize, the mutant insect superheroine Calamity Cricket, with the intent of wiping Cricket's brain and cloning her to found a new race of sonically controlled hive-mind servants.

Instead, I'll just post a one-liner or so about each character's nemesis and leave it at that. Won't that be fun?

Winvincible - Fellow survivor from the same collapsing dimension
Neighborhood Watchman - Corrupt cop who got him put away
Bodyblock - Evil Twin
Litany - Fallen student

Electric Eye - Alien bounty-hunter
Exactor Mortis - Ex-Girlfriend who thinks he's holding out on her.
Righteousness - The standard ebil demon bent on world domination

My Ukrainian UNTIL agent pursues an corrupt Babylonian (the mystical Realm, not the ancient culture) noblewoman whom is on a mission from the Descending Hierarchy to promote the ruin of innocence in Earth's people. He ran into one of her cabals while in Eastern Europe, which was involved in human trafficking. Seeing the terrible results of her handiwork in the women and children they uncovered, he has sworn to see justice in the end and her vile legacy undone. well I'm a writer so I kind of have to have a decent story there otherwise it'll bug the frig out of me.

my archer character Fletcher Bowyer, the "Archer Supreme".

His nemesis is "The Dire Beast": Beast is essentially a being of mythical origins who is the worst expression of what nature has to offer, the most extreme and cruel interpretation of the law of the jungle. In the end all that matters to The Dire Beast is that one thing, everything he does serves it. He has no care for who it is he hunts so long as he is continuing to prove himself the greatest predator.
Long story short, Fletcher is the first being that treated Dire Beast like prey, instead of predator, and Beast hates him for it. He needs to defeat and kill Fletcher personally to put his world as he sees it right again. Fletcher in the mean time is forced to take the "hunt" of this strange, cunning, insatiable predatory force on as the Dire Beast now tears through the world, driven into a frenzy by his defeat at the hands of the Archer Supreme.

My Nemesis is a re-engineered manimal, created and used by some humans he's come to despise and seeks to become better than. He was a valued weapon as he's a stealthy infiltrator but he also has the power to basically rewire minds, given the time to do so, which can lead to a very permanent form of conditioning. He's the other side of the coin to my main, a dark shadow, so to speak.

He fought for his freedom and gained it, and he now seeks to create a perfect society, one founded in love and equal respect, but with all wills bound to his, as he sees free will as a primary contributing factor of suffering. He started out with beastmen and manimals alike, considering that he was birthed on Monster Island, and he's become fond of them aesthetically and sees them as superior.

What he would do with those who are not manimals is simply either convert them and then bind them to his will, or if they choose to resist him? He'd have no choice other than to euthanise them. He's an interesting, layered, Magneto sort of villain, since he's not all that evil at all, he's simply a very powerful entity with issues who desires World peace - albeit fashioned in his feral image.

Those under his sway tend to enjoy good, blissful lives, and even if they're not following their own personal goals, they couldn't be happier. There's a lot of open-mindedness, and they're all one big family, and my Nemesis doesn't really see any problem with that. Of course, the character I consider my main tends to sympathise, and that's how he once unwittingly fell under his Nemesis' sway.

There were some good times had then, and even something of a relationship between the two, but eventually the old wulf managed to break free and managed to ensnare his ex-slavemaster, seeing him to jail and then going back to his crimefighting ways. But it appears his Nemesis is free once again, and seeking to create his perfect society anew, but now he sees Hypnowulf as a rather deadly threat to his schemes, and he isn't sure quite what to do about the hero... yet, but if it came to blows...

The first acts he committed were against the humans who imprisoned him, which only further embittered him towards them. And at that time he decided to take on a moniker that they would understand, yet at the same time one that was strangely clinical, one that would dehumanise him, as an affront to those he reviles. He calls himself Alpha, the first, who is destined to lead.

After locking horns a few times, Hypnowulf's come to call him 'Alfie', which irritates him no end.

Probably could've written that better, but I'm half asleep and that'll do. I'll get down to brass tacks and write up a full story as I did with Hypnowulf soon enough, no doubt.

Ashmedai :

A wizard that rose to power during the late 70's and continued to travel around the world for many years attempting to find a way to become immortal. After many, many years he was able to piece together a ritual to do just that. Being morally ambiguous at best it did not bother him that in order to perform the ritual he would have to summon a demon from the nether... and sacrifice an innocent soul to it.

On new years eve, December 31st 1999, he gathered his materials including an innocent woman and hid away in a series of power carved caves to attain his goal. As he reached near to attaining immortality he was interrupted by Witchcraft. She had been aware of his goal for some time but had difficulty tracking him down until this vital moment. A magical battle ensued but Ashmedai was no match for the prowess of the world class magic and knowledge Witchcraft possessed.

Witchcraft disrupted the ritual and was about to bind Ashmedai with a spell when the now marred circle of power burst forth eldritch energy and a figure appeared. Daemeon, a powerful demon Lord from the nether had been pulled to our realm and was none to happy about it. Feasting his eyes on the innocent victim on the altar it turned to take the soul it desired...

Seeing what came through the rift, Ashmedai was horrified. Deep inside his humanity awoke and he realized what he had done, and was trying to do. Screaming what incantations he could muster Ashmedai dove in front of the innocent sacrifice to block the energy streaming towards her. Power raged around both beings and anger rose in the demon at the denial of his prize. Eying the sorceress Witchcraft to the side Daemeon turned to take from her what Ashmedai had denied him.

Seeing the intent in the demon, Ashmedai performed the end of the ritual as best he could... with himself as the sacrifice. His soul however was not innocent and the ritual went awry. The very fabric of Ashmedais being was torn in two halves and one of those halves was absorbed by the demon. As Daemeon tried to obtain the other half floating in the weave Witchcraft blasted him with her powers and disrupted the power flow.

Screaming in outrage the demon fled but as it did it tore apart the caverns and caused a collapse, pinning Witchcraft beneath rubble. Pinned and helpless Witchcraft up at the free wizard Ashmedai with despair sure of his intent to kill her while he could. Instead, speaking words or power, Ashmedai blasted the rubble away and freed her. Grabbing the now unconscious sacrifice and Witchcraft Ashmedai triggered his escape amulet and rifted them to safety.

Ashmedai was arrested, tried, and convicted of both mundane and magical crimes against humanity and sentenced to serve his time in the super prison Stronghold. After almost ten years had passed in his sentence he was given a parole hearing. Witchcraft herself attended the parole hearing to Ashmedais dismay, sure that she would contest his freedom. Instead, Witchcraft gave a glowing recommendation of Ashmedais character and remorse and stated she would continue to monitor him and his actions if he was given release.

So it was almost ten years later, and with half a soul, that Ashmedai returned to the world a free man... intent on protecting the world he so callously disregarded before and looking for the other half of his soul.

Daemeon :

Once a powerful full demon Lord, the Half-Demon Daemeon continues his work of evil on the mortal plane with a single goal... to find the wizard Ashmedai and finish the job he started in the cavern long ago... take the other half of his soul.

My main, Faefire, was a playful fire spirit who liked to play (sometimes rather vicious) pranks on unsuspecting passerby in her home dimension of Faerie, until one day she messed with the wrong wizard. He banished her to the mortal world to "serve and help" mortals until she'd learned her lesson... which he estimated might take dozens or even hundreds of years. She's immortal though, so that's no big deal.

Her Nemesis is an ice spirit called Frostmourne. Faefire stole a man Frostmourne was in love with, casually and rather cruelly dumping him afterwards, which led to his suicide. Then she stole ANOTHER man Frostmourne liked, and then later a third. By that point Frostmourne (who was frankly unbalanced and touchy to start with) snapped and swore eternal hatred. She'd be quite happy to destroy the whole mortal world as long as Faefire is killed too. She's a maniac, obviously.

Faefire's next Nemesis will be Cold Iron (thanks Maelstrom for the inspiration). He was a genius kid who fell in with a bad crowd after his parents were killed during a hostage situation gone bad. Faefire was careless about the fragile mortals, and, well, there's a saying about omelettes and eggs. Long story short, he made a suit of powered armour and devoted himself to destroying faeries and magical creatures of all sorts, most especially the cruel wench who killed his parents. He'll be a mastermind.

I rather like the idea of playing an antihero who's really only ~pretending~ to be a hero. In character, Faefrire wouldn't admit to any of the above though; it was just a coincidence that those guys liked her, and it's not her fault that Frostmourne can't handle rejection. She didn't mean for the mortals to die, either... who knew they were that flammable? It'd get old if I made a pattern out of it though, so my other characters are substantially different in motivation and outlook. None are old enough to have a Nemesis yet though, so I have time to think the stories through.

With "Bombshell" and her Nemesis "Recoil", the relationship is simple. Recoil was built. Recoil is a robot with an AI that got a bit more "advanced" then her creator planned on it being. Thus the robot she planned to use to help out the local heroes decided that humans were just a waste of space and is setting about to try and do the same sort of thing Mechanon is doing... but without the religious overtones (Read, eliminate all humans on the planet).

So in actuality, Recoil created Bombshell, as the creator recognized a need to stop her creation, and created the powersuit she uses to try and take her down.

Ravenstein's nemesis, Lord Mugin, is the person she unknowingly beat to get her superpowers. As in he feels he should have been the one gifted with Ravenstein's superpowers. So he is using...other (and evil, of course) means to get superpowers while trying to destroy Ravenstein and claim what he feels is rightfully his.

What is worse is Ravenstein does not even realize that Lord Mugin is her nemesis. She thinks he is just some annoying guy who shows up from time to time. She can't even remember his name so she refers to him as 'That Guy', as in:

Lord Mugin: "At last I shall destroy you Ravenstein and claim what is rightfully mine!"
Ravenstein: "Hey, it's that guy from...somewhere. I know I have seen him somewhere before but for the life of me I can't just remember where."
Lord Mugin: "It is I, Lord Mugin, and I shall be your doom!"
Ravenstein: "...were you at that dance party last weekend at Club Caprice?"
Lord Mugin: "NO! I am Lord Mugin! Your Nemesis and the instrument of your destruction!"
Ravenstein: "I always thought Dr. Teleios was my nemesis."

Anyway, he's an evil corporate ******* whose cuts to the safety budget resulted in the chemical spill that gave Union Man his powers.

Nemesis: Conqueror.

He's the product of a secret weapons program known as XLK-2. He was made to command legions of robo soldiers against the armies of certain supervillains but he went evil at one point, killed his creator, destroyed the facility he was being tested at and fled.

He is Laser Knights' "little brother" in the sense that their creator is the same person.

Current Nemesis - Yelena Pripyat (Russian: Елена Припять)

Back in Extor Prime's home universe, Dr. Boris Korshunov was once among Soviet Union's premier scientists, an everyman genius whose unassuming appearance betrayed his towering intellect and a plethora of talents.

After the Chernobyl catastrophe, he volunteered to work with the liquidator teams, who struggled to contain the radioactive aftermath of the disaster. Dr. Korshunov's robots saved a great many lives during the reactor containment phase.

Dr. Korshunov worked side by side with the liquidators, and with little regard for his own personal safety. Eventually, radiation exposure coupled with mental strain caused him to have a psychotic break. Accompanied by a score of reprogrammed robots, he escaped into the radioactive ghost town of Pripyat, fortifying it with makeshift traps and cybernetic sentries over the course of a mere week. Attempts to reason with him failed - he claimed that Pripyat was now his sovereign domain that he was charged with "protecting".

Boris was eventually driven out by a Spetznaz operation, but was never taken into custody. Though utterly insane at this point, he cunningly escaped capture again and again, setting up operations all over the world, and unleashing his robotic minions on missions of that were equal parts criminal genius and utter, insensible mayhem. Eventually, the mad Doctor found his refuge in the Rogue Isles...

Dr. Pripyat, as he now called himself, tangled with Extor on many occasions, and once scored a very impressive victory over the hero. In retaliation (and in rare display of sheer brutality) Extor infected Dr. Pripyat with a nanovirus, which would cause a catastrophic failure of the Doctor's cybernetic implants should he approach Paragon City again.

Undaunted, the Doctor began looking for other ways to even the score. He created an "imperfect" clone of himself, imprinted with a copy of his own scientific genius. In a stroke of inspiration, Boris made the clone a female, judging that Extor would have a harder time opposing an attractive woman. He named his "daughter" Yelena. She would share all of Boris' genius and megalomania - and an obsession with destroying Extor - but suffer from none of his radiation-induced ailments.

Yelena was pursuing Extor Prime on an extra-dimensional chase when a catastrophic failure of Portal Corporation technology stranded both of them in Millennium City. Undaunted, she went to ground, biding her time to build up a force of robotic minions, which were far more sophisticated - and numerous - than her "father's" creations. When the time came, Yelena began her chase once again...

-My main is a robotic hero created by a redneck with a flair for building stuff out of spare parts from the junkyard he works at. Found some alien tech that had fallen from the sky, used it to make a cool looking robot. The alien tech took over from there. Turns out the government found all the other pieces that fell to earth that day except this one.

The origin of the alien tech is a techno-organic being labeled 'Alien 43'. The government has sent a retrieval agent to the midwest to retrieve the tech in the robot. Thus my nemesis, right now, is that agent. After i best him, the next step up is a gov't made robot from the same tech sent to collect and scrap the hero for parts to add to the gov't robot. The third and final nemesis will be the head of the agency in charge of the Alien 43 project.

All that means that the missions in game have absolutely nothing to do with my story whatsoever.

Hero - Pistol Pack

Nemesis - Black Adder

Friends through the army, Jack Mason and Harold Knight were two outstanding marksmen. They each had their specialties and they always attempted to outdo each other on the range. Their skills were noticed within the military and they were approached by General Ingram to join a select group in testing some new technology. Weeks went by before Jack realized something was not right with the group or the scientists he dealt with. Harold did not seem to have an concerns, but Jack continued to worry. He found he had good reason, as the group responsible for the suits was none other than VIPER. Jack told his friend about what he had found, but Harold had already been converted into their ranks as Black Adder. Jack fought his way out of the nest and made his way back to the military base.

General Ingram had been found dead of an apparently heart attack in his bed several days after Jack and Harold had left the base. Their dossiers were marked special ops and left at that. Jack explained to the base commander what had happened and what he had found, although by the time they returned to the nest it had been cleared out by way of fire.

Jack hopes to get through to Harold one day and turn him from his destructive path. Harold loves playing at being a leader and has no plans to relinquish his power now that he has it. So, Jack has taken on the personal of Pistol Pack, hoping that he can get his friend back without resorting to killing him.

Valentyna is an ancient wizardess who sought out undeath to escape her own mortality and dedicated her eternal life to the defence of 'mortal kind' against horrors only the wise can face, joining the Trismagistus council, and even serving a century and change as Archmage.

Her nemesis is Athanasius, the first fellow Lich, and the first fellow wizard, she ever met, as well as her first love. He tought her a great deal of the basis for her magic, and helped her adjust to the reality of eternal life. When he betrayed her and turned to the Qliphonic realms for power, she saw, for the first time, that there was true Evil in the world, and stopped him. In her heart, Val wishes things could have been different, and wonders even now if there isnt somethigns he could say or do to turn her old teacher away from his dark path. IN her head, though, she knows the world would be a safer place with him destroyed (a sentiment he returns in kind) - unfortunately since they are both powerful, ancient, and paranoid liches neither one has even succeeded in permanently elliminating the other, and so their battles persist through the centuries. Athanasius is a mastermind - cold, and calculating, and patient as the grave, spinning schemes that span centuries. His minions are qliphonic infernals bound by this spellcraft.

Case: 1102592
Supername: Sorwen (Real Name Unknown)
Age: Unknown (Apparent Age: 25)

Sorwen was the fist documented case of SGMS (Spontaneous Genetic Mutation Syndrome). Unlike cases where a Genetic Mutation is caused by some outside intervention (radiation, chemical, or exposure to some other catalyst) or those that are born with mutated genes, SGMS occurs when a totally normal cell divides incorrectly and genome information passed to the new cells is significantly different from the original cell. These new cells, MEC or Mutation Enhanced Cells, are capable of splinting correctly with this new information. The result is after an undeterminable number of years the new cells have totally replaced the old cells and the persons mutation become evident.

In Sorwen's case the result was many fold. First the cells have no known Hayflick limit(the maximum number of times a normal cell population will divide before it stops). The result is since all the cells in his body continue to replace old cells he no longer ages. It is assumed that his apparent age of about 25 is when in his case the MEC finally replaced all of the other cells within his body.

Second, while the rate of division was not increased the number of new cells after each division is about 10 times the normal amount a human cell can divide. While this does not manifest in any visible way such as increased mass or spontaneous regeneration it is directly responsible for the third result.

Due directly to how the new cells react a tremendous amount of force is generated at the nuclear level. The MEC within his body actually store this force which Sorwen can consciously release. The first documented result of this was a focused concussive bolt that blasted through several walls of the clinic. It was later documented that large numbers of the extra cells actually die off when such a bolt is released. This however isn't a problem for two reasons. Due the vast number of extra cells already within his body there is always a surplus of cells to begin with. And while other variations in this base ability were later documented it seems these bolts are currently unique in that a sympathetic resonance between the bolt and some of the original cells is maintained and part of the energy of the concussive force is returned to the cells. It is speculated that it might be possible for him to die or in fact kill himself if it were possible expel all of that force at once. However this would result in a concussive blast several times greater than any nuclear weapon ever recorded and therefore no experimentation is advised.

Further standard testing is however advised as we have only begun to understand this potential. While the subject has been amicable up to this point it is still deemed necessary, since the recent escape of several other known case studies, that he be made manageable through various drugs that will help inhibit independent thought.

So that is the story for my main character. His nemesis is of course Dr. MADD. I haven't really given much thought to powers yet as until they fix PF it is extremely hard to level past 20.

My vampire character's nemesis is based off of a friends character. A friend had decided that his magic character was a demon hunter and when he heard about my vampire character decided he would make him his nemesis. I decided to do the same so I can always get revenge. :)

Another character is an SGMS2 which is simply a child from two SGMS parents.

This genie is a rather kind one, healing and protecting allies, while avoiding killing people whenever possible. It's nemesis (it's technically genderless, so calling it he or she is really just a matter of preference.) is a rich spoiled brat who wants to enslave it and force it to grant a wish to rule the world and even be more powerful than Dr. Destroyer himself. So far though, the brat has never succeeded. The nemesis uses either Munitions or Gadgets, haven't decided yet, with mercenary henchmen. He's so rich he just buys his superpowers. The nemesis was inspired by that rich little bratty girl from Power Puff Girls who made an armored suit, I thought i'd try something similar, only with much nastier, grander schemes for power.

I'm on my main's 4th nemi.

1) Murphas Lau - When Raad Na was born, she was created out of a curse that was supposed to kill Faye and Jasamune Rienne as well as plenty of other innocent people within a short distance of them. The curse was placed by some mages, yes, but the essence of the curse came from an infant lesser demon. With the curse reversed in such a way that a new life was born instead, the infant demon's mother filled with rage. She was Murphas Lau. However, she was not allowed to go after the Rienne family until after they came to Millennium City. Even then, she sneaked into the living world to try to kill Raad Na and get her child back.

2) Cythrus Ia - A lesser demon who wishes to make a name for himself. He sneaked into the living world with Murphas and others following the major demon who ruled their realm.

3) Dr. Floregaard - She was on her way to rob a bank when Murphas's minions and Raad Na busted in one after the other. Dr. Floregaard was arrested for her feeble attempt at robbing the bank, but she still blamed Raad for her failure.

4) Bopa the Clown - This . . . manifestation of evil insanity tried to crash a costume contest in Millennium City with the help of some recently unemployed minions (previously working under Murphas). The 60+ heroes put her down quickly. When Bopa went to bust out of jail, Raad came to try to stop her.

I'm the result of one of those freak accidents, you know. It starts with a bright but clumsy post-graduate in nuclear physics petting a cat to be put in the cyclotron to be subjected to Weakly Interacting Massive Particles. Or it starts with a cat doing its cuddle duty before sitting in a box looking gorgeous and waiting for someone to open the tuna can. Actually, I think it's both.

Anyway. You take one cat, one post-graduate, one cyclotron and one freak storm, and you get a short that ZAM! shoots a hailstorm of WIMPs straight through them both, and from that second, there are not two entities but one. And tadaa! Shadow Kitty is born!

Thing is, there's this Office of Meta-human affairs. They're a bit paranoid, a bit covert, and a bit over-funded, so when Shadow Kitty - me - starts to use her new-found agility and flight ability to, eh, steal from the rich and give to the poor, especially one poor post-graduate student that suddenly is without a grant, they set up a task force under Colonel Sarah Vandenberg. And the good colonel is very good - good enough to track me down and send Defender to make my life miserable in Stronghold for a couple of years.

So I get out on the street and Defender is suspicious but, you know, all forgive and forget, but the good colonel is not. She's in fact raving paranoid, perhaps because it was Defender that caught me and not her. So she starts up her own special operations unit using money trickled away from Iraqi war funds in order to hunt down allegedly dangerous meta-humans. Of course, she's thrown out head first from OMaHA (Americans and their clever abbreviations), but the funds are already hers and she has her private army.

Did I mention that she was raving paranoid? Yep, the disgrace of being thrown out is MY fault. So Colonel Vandenberg and her little private army is bent on destruction of every meta-human in the world and in particular me.

Silly human.

their history goes back hundreds of years where he was jealous of her success in rising through the ranks of the military in their dimension. His hatred got so intense that he actually staged an ambush and killed her troops and flung her off a cliff. however, he was pulled off with her and they both fell into a dimensional rift, resulting in them appearing in Millenium City.

It's a sort of rivalry to Victor, but for the Sentinel, it's a mix of her being out for revenge and trying to bring Victor to justice for his various crimes.

My main just cracked level 25 yesterday and I made my first Nemesis. I even been on my first nemesis mission and loved it. So here I will say thank you devs for the nemesis content. It is so cool.

My main is named Chilblane. He is an officer from another world. He was on assignment to take some of the most dangerous criminals from a medium security prison world to a maximum seurity prison world. His hero name is his english codename. While in route all had to go into sleep chambers in order to survive the long journey. A meteor struck the ship forcing it to land on earth. Chilblane was the last to revive. When he awakened he noticed that he had developed superpowers and grew wings. He is worried that all criminals may have gained powers. So that would make them more dangerous than ever before. He must find them all and put them in prison before they can do any more harm.

His first Nemesis is named Psytrenitus. Why he chose that name is uncertain. He is one that has truly been unjustly punished for a crime that he did not commit. He was framed for the death of his wife. He thought that he could talk Chilblane into letting him go to finish the task of proving his innocence. But Chilblane said no, I have a job to do. If you were innocent then in time the truth will come out and you will be freed. But until then I must do my job. The powers drove Psytrenitus a little bit insane. Now he will still try to prove his innocence. But he feels that he must defeat Chilblane before he can return to finish proving his innocence.

Later in the story (when Psytrenitus it defeated for good). I will say that others on his homeworld proved his innocence and has been freed by the courts on his homeworld. That his homeworld wants him back in order to right the wrong that they have done to him. Now that he sees that his planet is firmly behind he and knows he is innocent. That they are trying to make amends. He decides that he will return to his homeworld and become one of their superheroes.

Through his severe psychosis Glenn Beck has had an advanced suit of power armor built for him and he has gathered a large group of "birthers and teapartiers" (mostly rich, old, and stupid white people) who all naturally dress like cowpoke and use military firepower.

Media Friend lost his right arm and leg in a horrible accident cause by Beck attempting to steal Obama's REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE/SECRET SOCIALIST AGENDA. Devoting his life to stopping Beck and protecting the hearts and minds of the world from corporate interests and bland idiocy Media Friend made a faustian bargain with the being known to as The Olbermann where he channels liberalism into deadly force blasts!

Shifter Prime - Inventor of a special energy source. Nemesis: A robotic sidekick he was inventing which harnessed this energy source but gained a mind of its own.

Magus Omega - Not just a hero, but an immortal secret sentinel of balance. Nemesis: An evil half-demon from antiquity bent on bringing humanity's downfall from the shadows.

Dark Defier - A super reflexive gunslinging swashbuckler. Nemesis: A super reflexive ninja criminal.

Basically, my Nemesises have all been spun on a "your hero is the only one who can stop them" angle.

Sadly, I'm not much of a role player like Krunch is.

I name all my characters after models of motor vehicles. I have BMW, Ford, Mazda, Itsizu, Pinto, Honda, Pontiac (my gun slinger).

The first Nemesis I made was Import (though some of my models are imports). But his main goal is to sell sub standard vehicle replacement parts and high prices. A villain in any book. Sadly, I mistakenly told the chief all his henchmen are ninja's. My first encounter with my nemesis ended in success after a few premature face plants. Who would have tought that ninjas were so sneaky! Holds and placates?!!? Waaah, and my nemesis likes to knock me down and wail on me with his claw attacks. I've got a mess on my hands, who would have thought fighting an Import would be so tough!

My character Kage Armstrong (the signature below is an old version from closed beta) Is a fallen Angel. 2 thousand years ago he was an Avenging Angel and took his order from Michael (yes that michael). Anyways its a long story but to shorten it, he falls in love with an ancient vampire who calls herself Brody. Brody is the daughter of Lilith the first vampire. Lilith betrays Brody and turns over to the early christians to be killed by the sun. Kage shows up and for some reason can not let it happen. He rescues Brody, wich in turn ****es michael off and gets him cast out to become a Fallen Angel.

In the game era Kage and Brody are hunting for Lilith who is Brody's arch nemesis (brody is my wifes character). With Liliths blood Kage can break Brodys curse turning her from a vampire to a Human Immortal. So while Kage and Brody are hunting Lilith, Michael is hunting Kage to punish him for his betrayal. Michael is ofcourse Kage's arch nemesis.

There I think I shortened it sufficiently

Grimur, as he's known to the world currently as; Has a lot of problems.

First, he's really really really old. Like, as in, he fought for what most people would call 'Lucifer' (Although it's a real funny inside joke in hell, being frank...) when that whole fisticuffs melee occured back in your 'old testament'.

Secondly, He's been the Devil's Repo man on many other planes of existance before finding your 'Human Realm', taking lives, possessions, you know; That belong to the unholiest of holies.

Third, he's quite tired of hearing his wife complain to him that he never gets any time off. (Yes. Marraige does exist outside of life, so make sure when you marry someone, you can live with them after life too.)

Fourth, the big man, the horned one himself; has recieved some sort of deal with the big man upstairs. First order of this 'secret treaty'? The firing of one Grim Reaper, namely: Grimur himself.

...So out of a job, being an immortal, what does one do who once had all the powers of the afterlife at his fingertips? He gets an appartment in Millenium City. Which is promptly destroyed when the Qularr attack.

Whispering under his breath about 'effing blankety blank aliens this, that, and another'; he leaves a note for his wife that reads: 'SORRY BABE. GONE CRIME FIGHTING. AND ALIENS. CALL LANDLORD.'

((That's where we leave off in the current part of his story, however: his wife will be his Nemesis. I have an entire story written out for this thing. XD))

Lieutenant Alfred Wulf of the United States military served for 13 years as a dedicated soldier, when a near-fatal attack during a raid on his remote base in the Middle East caught he and his unit by total surprise. Flat-footed, he was caught in an explosion and lost both of his arms from the raid.

However, one Colonel Rogers was preparing to launch Operation: Javelin, an attempt to create a new series of Power Armor for common use on the battlefield. One of the augmentations for the project involved a near-total replacement of the arms, and he was short on volunteers for the beta phase. Since Wulf was already missing arms, he was the perfect candidate. The operation and rehabilitation, lasting two years, was a complete success; in fact, the prototype for Wulf's Armor was completed less than a week before the Qularr invasion.

During this time, Rogers completely ignored and neglected his young daughter Jessica, who grew jealous of Wulf, who had taken her father from her. Unbeknownst to her father, she had a severe mental illness that resulted in near-total insanity, and the focus on only one goal: The death of Lieutenant Wulf. Desperate, she turned to the martial arts, and through her sparring companions gathered a group of loyal followers trained in the way of the ninja. With her army she would wage a guerilla war, and destroy the man who had stolen her father...

In other news, Operation Javelin was a success and the newest model of the Javelin armor is reported to be on the field in a matter of months. :D

Hawk-Bat is the hero

Bat-Hawk is his nemesis.

They are twin borthers. One got a Foxbat action toy for christmas one year. The other did not. Thus the foundations for most epic of confrontations of our ages was laid. Seething with jealousy one became Bat-Hawk and dresses in the exact opposite to Hawk-Bat.

Both gadgeteers. Both insane.

My Character: Molly Mayhem

Background: Molly is descended from a long line of Supervillains. However, she has been feeling quite a bit of teenage angst lately, and her way of rebelling against the 'rents is by flying around performing good deeds and saving citizens. She does this all just to spite her folks.

1st Nemesis: The Sizzler (the name's a little hokey, but this one is fire based, and... quite honestly the name of the restaurant 'The Sizzler' is the 1st thing that popped into my head, so I just went with it.)

Background: Not too much to tell here, except that it's Molly's grandmother. I may develop the background on her a bit more at a later date- haven't decided yet.

2nd Nemesis: The Izzard

Background: This one is Molly's cross-dressing uncle. He has been known to run around singing "I Feel Pretty" in the midst of combat.

I basically plan on keeping Molly's nemeses all in the family...call it a Supervillain intervention of sorts- trying to get her back on the path of the evil straight and narrow.

Gentleman Gigawatt was created by U.S.Androids, "America's premiere android, robot, and cyborg" as a prototype military model. He left the service and traveled the world, staying for a time in England (thus becoming a Gentleman).

In response to U.S.Android's military contracts and the growing Cold War, Scientists in the USSR used serums derived from the common Russian Wolf, steroids, and bioelectric training to create Lupis Communis. He was trained in swordcraft, but due to the dichotomy between man and beast he went insane, taking the Russian bio-engineered army of animal-men with him on his rampage. In their first encounter, Communis tore Gigawatt's cape, and now he wears the purple cloth tied around his arm as a sign of his contempt for his opponent.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

While in England, Gigawatt learned some stage magic, and even though he is a robot, he is quite good. His robo-assistants help distract the audience as he disappears, hovers around on stage, hypnotically commands volunteers to freeze, and for his finale shrinks a volunteer to minuscule size.

After one show where he made the entire Earth shrink (he actually teleported the audience to a replica stadium situated in space), he inadvertently gave away another magician's secret. The other magician, and a member of the secretive Welsh Reptilian Aristocracy, Duke Sargasus has plotted the robo-magician's demise ever since. He spent the last 3 years in jail for tax fraud, and he was incensed when he learned that his neighbor, the Russian maniacal wolf-man, also despised and tried to destroy Gigawatt. He decided he could wait for vengeance no longer.

My Character:
Colonel Stephen Yisrael Masyadkowski, aka Old Gray Soldier, was a veteran of the First World War, serving on the Western Front against the Russians as an enlisted man in the Imperial Army of the Dual Monarchy of Austria-Hungary, attached to the German Army for training purposes. He became something of a war hero, singlehandedly rescuing a squad of German troops facing death at the Battle of Tannenberg.
His ability as a soldier was almost superhuman, with remarkable speed, agility, skill with a weapon , and healing factor, allowing him to win high honors from both the German and Austrian High Commands. Following the war and the creation of an independent Poland, Masyadkowski became a member of the Pilsudski government and a military advisor to the new Polish Army.
When the Germans invaded Poland in Septemeber of 1939, Masyadkowski was captured by the invading army, targeted specifically for both his Jewish heritage, his particular abilities, and his role in the government and military. Sent to Oscweim, he became the target of one who simply referred to himself as The Doctor. Masyadkowski suffered horrific torture and experimentation at the Good Doctor's hands, who sought to use him as a research subject for a super soldier program. The Old Gray Soldier escaped only when he played dead and was able to break from the camp.
Following the war, Masyadkowski refused to become a part of the Communist led government in Poland, instead becoming a soldier of fortune, though his skills had grown considerably weaker due to his experiences at the hands of the Good Doctor. He has, over the decades, sought out new ways to augment his deteriorating skills, transitioning from a soldier oriented towards speed, reflexes, and martial arts toward one reliant on technology and armor-based weaponary, though he still retains at least some of his old instincts. He continues to work against fascism in all of its forms.

My Nemesis:
The Good Doctor was simply serving his country and the cause of science. How could anyone think what he was doing was somehow wrong? He was working for the greatest good after all, the glory of the Greater Reich. But, alas, it all went wrong, and he was forced to flee to Brazil, where he might be able to resume his experiments and restore the Reich when the world was ready. Oh, but first he would need his Fuhrer, and the Good Doctor became involved in a rather convoluted cloning program run by a shadowy group of German expatriates known simply as the Boys from Brazil. It has had its problems.
Recently, the Good Doctor has become involved with the terrorist organization known as Viper, hoping that its own work in genetics and technology may augment his own efforts. He has temporarily relocated his operations to Millenium City to gain better access to Viper labs.
This untermensch posing as an ubermensch 'Champion' calling himself Old Gray Soldier reminds the Good Doctor of an old, failed experiment from long ago, and when the Good Doctor gets curious, bad things happen.

Short answer:

My main is a Munitions/Gadgeteer soldier, who with her twin brother and their unit fell upon some hazy supernatural incident on a random sweep where everyone in their unit was either killed or near death. Dextra made it out but with her right eye blinded. Her brother, Dexter, went missing during the craze. (and what makes me the most mad about this is i dont get the EYE SCAR option as a female.. it fits my characters story : ( so dumb...)

So basically it turns out he died.. somewhat.. and the Supernatural being residing in his body is coming back to collect his powers that were transmitted to the surviving soldiers.

He wants my Regen.. well tough bro.. cant have it!

I frequently take Dex out to the Club to patrol suspicious behavior and record my findings.

My first Nemesis was my ex-wife... wait, sorry, my character's ex-wife. My second was my boss... erm, oops, my character's boss. Future plans involve the cool name generator I found that Crypitc gave us, code name: Ignore List.

What I really want is the ability to snag costumes off the idiots... erm, sorry, other players who are apparently on tight schedule forcing them to grab glowing things/quest NPCs out from under me. I suppose I could ask them, but I'd miss their replies since I have them plugged into the name generator I mentioned earlier.

Edit: On a more serious note, am I the only one here who created a nemesis that they like so much they then ended up making a character of the same name using the same costume?

The Origins of Professor Filo!!!!!*

Thomas Thompson created an advanced flight suit prototype for the military. He was fired due to budget cuts (UNTIL already has PA npcs lol), took his final prototype with him and modified it with fantastic devices to become the hi-tech hero Tom Turbo!

Professor Filo, Thompson's mentor and friend, headed the project. Afraid that his entire project would be canceled after the firing of Thompson, Filo began tinkering with the prototype suits Thompson left behind. A flaw in the power system on the earlier designs resulted in an explosion that destroyed the lab and claimed Filo's right arm. Although he was able to replace his arm with a bionic one, due to his inhaling a large amount of smoke waiting for rescue, Filo now had to depend on a breathing apparatus.

The Professor's career was ruined. After Thompson became Tom Turbo, he began to blame his one-time student and envy his success. Using his advanced knowledge in robotics, Filo created an army of automatons equipped with many of the same weapons employed by Tom Turbo. Professor Filo is a master gadgeteer, able to hack into orbiting satellites and employ amazing devices in his twisted quest for revenge.

*Now that I have played the game a little more I think I might retcon in a connection to VIPER or ARGENT.

My Nemesis/hero interaction grew out of the fact that I had borked one of my superstats and early powers and couldn't afford that much retcon, as well as naming the hero "Psiborg", which is also the name of a Marvel villian, and not wanting to pay for a name change.

So...

Timothy Yoshido, aka Psiborg, was originally an intern working at Mind Inc. (while getting his doctorate in applied robotics). He was, like most in their employ, completely unaware of their more nefarious activities. The team he was working with were developing nanites that were intended to increase synaptic speed, with the true, but covert, purpose of dramaticaly boosting psychic power. They had meant with extremely limitted success.

During the Qularr invasion, he had been working on the systems of the injection module, when the first explosion near the Mind Inc. labs (their first indication of the invasion), tore the injector from it's morings, crushing his left arm and exposing him to their little creations due to a short circuit.

He was, along with others, rushed to medical attention, but his arm had to be amputated. Later, he found that he had indeed developed increased reflexes and intellect, along with psychic powers of a very limited sort. With proper exertion, he could move a paperclip. While making a new arm for himself (he was a roboticist, and dissatisfied with his prosthesis), he discovered (due to his now superhuman mind) how to use cybernetics to boost his power, and became Psiborg.

After a wee bit of heroing, he was captured by his former employers during a failed attempt to rescue the mayor's daughter. The took him apart in an effort to reverse-engineer his tech. Before they got to the bits under the skin, or even realized that said bits were there, Timothy was rescued by Defender.

Later, after a suitable period of angst and self-pity, he rebuilt himself as Psiber Knight (yes I now know this name has been used as well, but I didn't know when I made him, and at least it's a bit more obscure).

Now he is persued by Dr. Amanda Huggenkis, his former boss at Mind Inc., who has undergone surgical implantation of what tech they were able to glean from his earlier capture. She, along with seemingly unending armies of psychic robots (also built from Tim Yoshido's tech), doggedly hunt him, desperate to aquire the final pieces of his creation. Doing so will unlock their full potential, making them a danger not only to Psiber Knight, but the rest of the world as well.
