First time i've got a game of this type and theres a few things I don't understand

For starters - Why does everyone moan so much about absolutely everything? If it's not this then it's that and vice versa.
I got this game because I thought it would be fun to make my own character and play through missions using him and be able to actually act out fun things that you can't do in other games. I'm an incredibly thin 7ft sorceror zombie who also uses a gatling gun and has the roomsweeper punch thing, i'm currently on Monster Island but not long ago did all the missions around Teleios tower in Canada.
Allow me to condense - I'm a 7ft zombie who punches dinosaurs in the face.

For me, I think it's great you can pretty much do anything you want to - And forget all these whiners that have cancelled their subscriptions or won't be renewing because their precious character has had a power slightly weakened or the server goes down once too often. Grow up! As long as this game keeps throwing up "awesome" like what i've been experiencing then i'll play for years.

I even enjoy picking up on the tip of the hats to other things - namely the foxbat mission where you go to rescue the news team and they're all based loosely around the Anchorman team. Brilliant.

MMO players are very vocal about their games, which is a good thing, as games like these thrive on feedback. Unfortunately not all of them know how to make a point without coming off as a spoilt brat. You get used to it.

Also Squidbot: I agree with you on that point. When it comes to the MMO genre; You've got extremists on both sides of the coin. Whether it's the die hard fanboys who don' t want you to voice any kind of criticism towards the game, or the whiners who have an issue with every little thing.

It's both rare and refreshing to see that there are some people out there who know how to balance out pros/cons while respecting each others opinions.

Unfortunately that's just how MMOs are. After 5 years of City of Heroes, I'm used to changes. I learned early on to roll with the punches and adapt. Some people want to have it written in stone, and MMOs just aren't like that. Things change almost constantly until they are right, that being the blend between the way the developers want it and the way the community wants it. But at the end of the day dev trumps player every time.

At last, some others who actually enjoy the game. I've seen so much stuff in this game that is brilliant it far outweighs the bad in my opinion, after all gaming is about fun for me. I wish other people would just start enjoying it, or if they don't enjoy it then don't play it and don't post rubbish about it as it will possibly scare a few potential customers off who actually would enjoy it.

Anyway, Slick Pete the pinstriped dinosaur puncher has taken a holiday.

Well... an MMORPG is just like the real world. There all types of people. Do you remember this flicks for kids where they divide highschools by groups? Its the same here. And the one you notice are mostly the loud ones as always.

Well I first came across them around Teleios Tower which will be around level 27-30 I think. The ones I was referring to though in original post was the ones in the lost caves on monsters, you can hear a crack when they hit the wall at a hundred miles an hour after having my fist slammed into their jaw.
