If you devs looked at my previous post, you know that I feel the avenger role is broken.

I also made a suggestion that I think deserves mentioning here, because I'm not sure what you do and don't read.

If the superstat damage cap stays, consider adjusting the cap differently with each role. This is not the predefined damage penalties you'd get with the more defensive roles, in fact they can stay, although I think this is a better solution.

Through super stat investment, it should be relatively easy to cap damage in Avenger mode. The equations that formulate the percentage should make it cost less to cap damage (also, the damage cap should be higher. Much higher.) This will not only allow the avenger class to achieve adequate dps for the ridiculous energy, equilibrium and health they lose, but it will allow dps classes to 1)exist and 2) make up for the severe gimping you've given them. Threat levels should only exceed protector teammates if stacked damage exceeds the threat of the tank, By the way devs, if this were to happen not only would the avenger class hero love the game despite being attacked, but you will have succeeded at having a dps class. At this point, pat yourself on the back and go home happy.
RECOMMENDED CAP 50-60%

Guardian should have a reasonable damage cap and be relatively difficult to reach. This will not only encourage players to HAVE different builds/roles but it will satisfy the casual gamer with a difficult but attainable goal.
RECOMMENDED CAP 40-50%

Protector should have a lower damage cap than guardian and avenger, it's understandable. but ALL attacks should generate threat, and the threat cap should be MUCH higher, if not infinite. After all, that's a tanks job.
RECOMMENDED CAP 30-35%

Sentinel should have the lowest damage cap. it's a support class not a dps class. Threat levels should be moderate, but healing should not gather the ridiculous threat it does while in sentinel mode. The only thing that's bothering me is the pet damage, which to my knowledge isn't affected by a superstat damage class.
RECOMMENDED CAP 25-30%

All in all this is a reasonable solution to the problem of dps and threat.
