I think i initially posted this in the wrong section...so I'll try here :)
So i decided to update my CoH toon over on CO. He was a darkness scrapper, and as i worked through a story on how he got from that world to this one (because let's face it, CO is much grittier the CoH so some friends and I wrote a fic about Dr.Destroyer violating the CoH universe via a portal)., I created a nemesis that helped explain why he no longer had as much control over darkness (since the dark melee is obviously not a choice), and picked up soem guns.
I picked up munitions (only pistols and grenades) and plucked up darkness powers that seem to fit.
he can still power himself up with darkness and do a few attacks with it, but relies on the guns because of his somewhat broken connection with the item that once powered him.
I'm trying to make a build that fits my concept yet is survivable in game. With so many changes in powers and stats and what have you, i keep getting lost in the shuffle.
Right now i have
Gunslinger
Bullet Ballet
Two Gun Mojo
Life Drain
Break Away Shot
Shadow Embrace
Mini Mines
Frag Grenade
Lead Tempest
Entangling mesh
Shadow Shroud
Killer Instinct
and Regeneration.
I run in Balanced mode, so as to use regen (part of his past powers).
I just wanted to see if anyone had any suggesting for survivability or damage output. There are a number of powers I could replace and still fall in the character design. Mini mines, entangling mesh (which seems to just explode at my feet), and others. I could even pick up other weapon based powers like a blade or something. My primary stats are Dex and Ego.
I guess I'm just looking for thoughts or comments or advice from anyone playing a similar build.
