Make blocking take energy

simple fix to a lot of problems.

It is not that the blocking mechanic is a bad idea, this is just not fun.

And look, I mostly play stronghold and usually have one of the top 3 scores every time. It is not that we cannot focus fire through shields. It is just not fun PvP experience.

Accually, they just need to spread the news that powers with the Crippling Challenge advantage will keep players from blocking for 4 seconds.

Sadly, it doesn't say in the discription, and I only learned it from some friends who did some serious testing.

P.S. They are not going to make block cost energy, because blocking is suppose to a secondary means to build energy available to all builds.

Knockback > Block
Hold > Block

Oh yeah, forgot about those two...

except I think it's possible to block through a succesfull knockback, so long as you resist the full effect.

Strong enough holds should work pretty much all the time though.

As I was aware my Electrocute removed block, but that is on a CD and it gets broken easily. I was not aware Crippling Challenge broke block. I will go test this.

I had a great time these past few days..
I got to run around Stronghold spamming teleport AND block, all the while not really contributing to the match at all.

But, now that I hit 40, I have no reason to ever return to the stupidity that is called PvP. I feel sad.

how did you get to 40?! there is the massive level gap around 30...no quests left and im 300k from 31 :D

I almost got exp snagged at 28-29, then I stumbled upon Area 51 quests.
Honestly, I didn't out of of quests till 85% into 38. Then I had to stomache Stronghold pvp to 40 :/

where are these area 51 quests? my crime computer is running on empty so im sitting in UTC matches running around waiting for them to end so i get the xp that way
