I am going out of my way to post on the forum that there is nothing wrong with Teleport and Tunneling so stop crying about it !!!!!! * extended amount of unnecessary exclamation points*
It's so stupid when people cry about it still or really act surprised when they join a game and the whole opposing team has teleport and tunneling. It's just a travel power like all the other travel powers and it's completely fair so quit crying guys! I didn't get teleport because everyone has it and I'm a copy cat, I got it because using teleport is the most skilled travel power in the game.
Anyways, I thank Cryptic Staff who I appreciate not bothering to listen to all these complainers complain about teleport being "overpowered". Just because Teleport makes me completely invisible, unlike all the other travel powers that you can constantly keep track of even if they run, does not mean it's over powered!
If you go into a game expecting people to NOT have teleport then you need to learn to play. You shouldn't think people would even imagine being original ! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? That's the real question! You want to be skilled then get the skills that make you skilled. Also, when someone is teleporting they aren't fighting!
Who cares that they get to 1% health then instantly escape? That's what hold skills like Ice Cage is for. So what if they get out of instantly, IT STILL HOLDS THEM! Do you know how many AOE skills can hold people who teleport? I won't list them all but a whole lot of them! You just need to time it right. If you don't have a stopwatch timer on peoples teleports then you must have ordered your copy of Champions from Amazon.com, or some other place that has decent customer service when shipping pre orders, and missed that special gift.
If you want to complain then just add in to all the other complaining forums! BECAUSE THIS IS MY SPREE AND WE DON'T CARE!!!

Gather around my teleport brethren, which happen to be 90% of Champions Online, and join in my calls for a BUFF TO TELEPORT!
Now Cryptic Staff here is my reason for the most needed teleport buff:
To use teleport, you have to be like, a professional NASCAR driver. I mean usually when I am busy spamming teleport around the ring until I get my health back, I've usually found myself running into world objects. This is highly unacceptable and I can't believed there isn't an auto run around the ring function.
When someone like me picks teleport, I am not fond of things like that.
Can you imagine how much run around the ring time I am wasting? By the time I am done maneuvering around objects, someone ALWAYS takes the health I was going to pick up! That's pretty annoying because then I have to keep using teleport until my regeneration kicks in or I find a spot to heal at. I will not stand for this, I need to be able to get back into the action right away, this is why you must listen to my proposal.
I suggest that when I click teleport, I automatically either get instantly healed or teleporters get a dot buff that heals them over time.
If you can't agree to that then at least give teleporters a buff so that the longer they spam teleport around the ring the more power they accumulate so when we are done teleporting around the ring for 5 minutes we can summon a Spirit Bomb and wipe out the entire match instantly to make up for the people we probably would have killed if we weren't busy teleporting.
Going to the powerhouse and getting teleport :One power point.
Complaining that if they nerf it in PvP it will nerf it In PvE: Priceless
There are some people aware of ridiculous powers , for other people there's Teleport.

Umm, a few comments that made sense in the opening paragraphs, some rubbish about not being able to control yourself when you move in teleport in the latter half.
I think teleport is alright, id like to see the 10sec cd on it utilising energy building attacks, and i think its nonsense someone in the middle of teleporting can pick up buffs, but in general i think teleport lacks any actual in combat mobility to be a threat, you just have to keep an eye out for the bursty teleporters who will go for a quick condemn or the such.
I think peoples arena awareness at the moment is quite poor, which lends itself well to any skill that allows someone to be sneaky, combined with the general pug nature of arenas at the moment making coordination a rarity and teleport is going to be seen as a strong skill.
I dont think its a good idea to balance things based on the bottom 2 tiers of pvp, which is the cause for alot of the teleport complains, but i do think a few tweaks to what you can do while teleporting and when you can teleport would be productive.

im not sure you could buff teleport. If you did the game might fall apart from too much awesome.

teleport is in no way balanced at the moment. try playing a melee if anything. you get to them, get 2-3 hits, and they teleport away. you find them and hit them and guess what, teleport is up, and their gone again. teleport makes you lose your target and they can be virtualy anywhere. and tunneling and teleport are the only travel powers you cannot prevent.
if you honestly thing teleport is balanced, play flying or accrobatics in pvp.
they all have advantages and disadvantages, yes, but all the other powers can be hit when running. its not "im low hp, so i teleport and im safe" its "im now hp, so now i block and try to fly away only to be knocked down and taken out"
i dont mind teleport, but there is no downside to it. if you teleport, you shoul be drained and do less damage or take more damage for a few sec. cuz you know, arcane energy is unpredictable.

Alright, I don't at the moment have any characters with TP, but did try it out in PvP in OB. I think your post made sense all the way down to "Buff Teleport", it seems like you were making fun of the OMG TP OPOPOPOP!!!one!!eleventyone! guys :P
Teleport is an escape button, yea, but you can't do any damage while retreating, and someone else might go finish off whoever you were escaping from. Make no abilities usable while teleporting (regen included, you shouldn't be able to use any abilities in TP to begin with), and give it a small recharge, 10secs+, if you were attacked. Think that could solve something :D

TP's are easy to kill , tunnelers dont even come near.Just shoot them while in floor lol.
half u guys crying for nerfs don't even pvp i bet.You pick 1 power and stick to it and think u should kick ass lol.
nearly every power has a op skill , **** force users can spam kb's and keep u on floor for whole match.thats just naming 1 , dont even get me started on the root spammers lol

Didn't you already make a qq post about Teleport before?
People offered advice on how to deal with it but you weren't interested. Whether you're unwilling or unable to adapt doesn't matter but it's PICNIC, Teleport doesn't need crushing with the Nerf bat.
Seriously, stop whining, either L2P, give up PvP or get used to being farmed by Teleporters (or whatever other Power becomes popular that you refuse to try and counter)

travel power removers(throwing items thunderbolt lunge etc) will stop them from activating tele for a while, and if they are rooted they will be standing still while phased, non-target aoes or aoes that would pass through them can still hurt them, and swinging is actually the only power you cannot stop

they can phase while rooted.
The anti travel powers only stop teleport for 3 seconds, but they also stop all travel powers for 3 seconds. Catch is... all OTHER travel powers need to be charged back up.
They can phase while rooted. They only "stay there" if they are held... and you can't always target them afterwards.
You people that claim teleport isn't overpowered... I invite you to duel me. Any takers? Come show me your magical anti-teleporting ways. This "oh you can hold them and aoe and stuff like that" BS that people spew as a "counter" for a single travel power doesn't convince me. Man up or shut up.

I really doubt any of them will take me up on the challenge. They know they can't stop teleport.
BUT
they are supposed to be proving they can beat my teleport.
I already know its fun without travel powers (or without teleport).
If anyone takes me up on it...
best 2 outta 3. I can teleport, you can't. You can use any other travel power except tunneling because thats just another teleport.
I will fight like normal, but if I start losing ill teleport. You're supposed to be proving you can stop me from doing that with your magical anti-teleport counter.
If I teleport out of the ring thats a draw because you didn't stop me.
You should be able to play just fine without teleport seeing as how its not overpowered as you claim.
You can forfeit at any time if you feel its hopeless.

swinging is not effected by removal, also other travel powers move at combat speed when not charged, no need to charge, the whole point of the root before they tp is so you can go were they where and use a non-targeted aoe to damage them, you can even target other things and use cones

Because a duel is just like a 5v5 team based arena, right? So anything we could get from dueling you could be dismissed from both sides as it doesn't accurately reflect the situation the OP is crying about (again).
That said, I'll duel you if we're in the same kind of level bracket

Teleport as it is implemented in Champions Onlines seems to be Hero System: phasing + superspeed + full invisibility to sight etc. That'd be a LOT of active points, since the scouting power of this alone is pretty brutal. Compare this to flight with an obvious inaccesable focus... we're talking a 30-40 point difference haha! 0 End too, but that's true of all the travel powers.

This is wrong. I use swinging and get it removed all the damn time. I have to charge it back up after it gets removed.
Swinging also takes a lot of skill to use effectively so don't you DARE nerf it.

Funny post OP.
They probably just need to put a very small END tap on TP. It would make a lot more sense.
Have it blink when you get low on END and then Phase back IN when you are empty.

Protip: Charging Swinging does absolutely nothing. Just like charging Rocket Boots.
Pro-tip: Charging swinging all the way up lets you jump to the max height right away. Just like the other charging travel powers.
You cannot charge jet boots, they are a click power.

Try to bear in mind though to keep enough people involved in PvP you are going to need a lot of those of us that arent so good at it. Otherwise you might find there arent enough matches to go around.
Bear in mind that this is a RP/Hero Theme heavy Genre....it doesnt tend to attract as much PvPers as other Genre MMOs.
With the missions as they are they are kind of herding us Non-PvPers over here at the moment. I had some fun but it wont be my regular gig. But I still think it would behoove you to take make sure the experience is at least somewhat fun even for those that are only marginal at it.
After all dont you want some of us to drop in occassionally?

huh unless they changed something i've used swinging while getting hit by thunderbolt lunges and having items thrown at me in pvp and pve without my line dropping or anything, and i'm not asking for a nerf, just saying it can/could not be removed

That was one of the more bizarre, nonsensical posts I've ever read on here.
That said, I don't really have any problem with teleporters. Someone "bamphing" away when their health is down is no different than me throwing up my block power and flying around while my regen puts me back to full health.
Everyone has their tricks and tactics.

thunderbolt lunge requires an upgrade. as for thrown objects, that seems to have a chance

Teleport would be fine with me, if I could keep my target. No other travel power (AFAIK) removes my target on the player. The problem is that once someone teleports, i have to find them and retarget them. By that time, they are healed, or too far away.
To balance, either make it so that using any travel power removes targetting, or make it so that teleport doesn't remove targets on the teleporter. It doesn't need a nerf ... it just needs to be balanced with the other travel powers.
That healing buff could be removed too - or, again, given to all travel powers.

npc versions of attacks do not need the advantage, i've even seen the no travel icon while still swinging
