Impressive damage, when I told you ice is just as effective as my build, and now I see you also have force block, which is clearly not a ice skill :) didnt you tell me that you specced full ice ? :) anyways I must say I am impressed by the damage a ice charecter puts out there, and id say it seems about as effective as mines atleast combined with the laser sword skill, or atleast it will be once the damage is toned down.

i have to use 3 abilities to do that burst damage, and the max dmg of those 3 abilities combined does less combined damage than a single cast of minimines.

highest i can do is about 700. whereas minimines, which has a 5 second cooldown, can easily hit for 1000+ with wall of fire

which is why it's lame :p

and i've pretty much run out of decent ice skills to pick, so i'm not full ice anymore

Most of those looked like horrible players IMO, hardly anyone even blocked against you plus most of them seemed to be running offensive passives without much in the way of defenses to compensate lol. I agree we're a bit OP in BASH with it being so open but you'll find that things soon change once you're in the last tier. People are much harder to kill in Apokalypse and (for the most part) are better players by that point.

yeah, im not impressed at all, you are fighting ******** people, ice dmg is ok considering you need to be really close to get its full potential, anyway good job on killing those inexperienced player.


Your build seem to be a good ice build, keep in mind force shield will become mostly an energy builder after the next patch, it is still a good block.

well i took the crippling challenge advantage for my laser sword, so they shouldnt be able to block anyway :p

but yeh, non of em had much defense. but then again, i have no defenses either - i havn't picked up any heals or hold breaker yet, and i use ice form for the damage boost.

would you suggest i use a defensive passive instead of ice form ?

Regardless on other people's take on "skill" of the other players. The video was pretty neat for me and showed a nice little combination I hadn't thought of and probably wouldn't have tried (hint of melee mixed into ice).

As to the defensive passive question, if you have room in your build, why not take both and you can switch them between builds if you're running into folks clashing through your ice form? If nothing else, if people are used to seeing you a bit squishier in ice form, could be a nice surprise for them.

well im not sure if i should replace ice form, since it gives me about 50% more damage with my ice spells

unless regen scales with CON? since im con/end that might work well?

No. Pick up a few clicky defenses to get a little tougher. Maybe some CON gear to add some HP.

If anything I'd say get used to running in avenger with clickys on cooldowns (add nanobots +advantage) and start lumping on the damage buffs and stealth powers. You'll damn sure be a glass cannon but you'll get used to it.

just use wall of ice with frozen footsteps advantage then stand next to someone xD crazy damage

However, you were a brilliant player. You concentrated fire on one person, didn't switch targets, and even though you had teleport, when you got low, you went around a corner THEN teleported away. Otherwise you stood your ground. I'd love to fight you in a PvP match. :D

Ice looks vicious. Looks like some nice burst damage with slows to keep them in range.

yeh, ice can put out some vicious dps. i can't wait to rank up some of my dps abilities (they all rank 1 atm) and get rank2/3 ice form :D

Exactly this, I have a TK blades guy and once I get chilled its all over, even if I had lunging kick etc, cause most ice users have fly/teleport. Nothing effects chill, it doesnt give an immunity timer, and lasts for a ridiculously long time. My hold on kinetic darts is like 2 seconds, causes a hold immunity and basically wrecks my ego hold at times (which is why I will go telepathy for my energy builder plus I like the -% ego debuff).

Ice needs some immunity timers, though by your skill I think you will be just fine, though some less skilled players will be hurt by not getting the iwin button.

Chill isn't the problem, it's the fact that you have a TK blades guy. As someone who has PvPed with a level TK blade character, I'm able to tell you that TK and melee in general without the appropriate abilities aren't great in PvP, be it against Ice characters or characters with knockback moves.
