((I just realized that I posted in the wrong forum before, so this is a re-post from combat and powers. My bad, folks.))

Well, this character's build turned out a little weird since it started for concept, and I'd hate to re-roll at this point (not going to, I'd rather save for the outrageously overpriced respec and get to 40)

With that said, I'm trying to come up with some build from this point forward that could be PVP viable.

My current superstats are: STR/CON with Single Blade/Fire Level 21 and I'm using gear that focuses as much on REC, DEX and EGO as I can.

Powers:

Reaper's Touch (With the advantage that gives Focus of the Unconquered Swordsman)
Firestrike
Reaper's Caress
Immolation
Pyre (Broke as all hell, of course, but it already fit the concept and I love the power.)
Invulnerability (Rank 3)
Force Shield
Bountiful Chi Resurgance (I have the 20% debuff negation advantage)

Now, I'm wondering where I should go from here. I know I need a hold for sure. Heatwave maybe, which is good for laughs when they're smacking themselves on fire, but it requires a 3-second maintain.

I'm also thinking of Scything Blade and Reaper's Embrace for bleed and -maybe- Dragon's bite, but again, I need a good hold to even think of keeping them in one place. Should I get -two- holds?

Is thunderbolt lunge worth it?

Now, I'm open to suggestions outside of Single Blade/Fire. I want to keep concept, but I want to keep it as viable as possible. I know this may turn out somewhat suck, but, I'm not asking for a top-tier build, but something mid to mid-high. Open power sets other than these are Electricity/Energy/Sorcery and -maybe- Ice.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm also working on a similar concept, my character is only lvl 10 atm so you would have more experience with the combo so far, but I can offer some advice on the single blade behave since I have a lvl 21 SB user. Take scything blade, you'll love it. When I first came up with the char I was hoping to stack the Bleeds from SB with the DoT from fire to make a pretty amusing yet viable char for PvP.

The Fire Dots have been letting me down though as I hardly notice them going off. I'm thinking I just need to lvl up the abilities. (So far I only have 3 attacks from fire and scything blade on my character) On my SB user to aid in getting off dragon's bite I picked up some moves from supernatural like iron lariot+advantage and crippling coils+advantage. These work out beautifully since they also cause bleeds.

The hold only last for a second most times but with that and the pull from kunai and lariot I get enough time to charge and realease a quick dragon's bite. I've never really been a fan of thunderbolt lunge but it can be usefull if you dont have a pull or something to throw at a flier, the skies a full of them. As for fire I'm looking into flash fire and the advantage that cause a snare. I thought it would aid nicely in allowing you to get some moves off also. Hope that helps some what...I'm off to look into some fire PvP build to see if I can get some useful info on that end lol
