This feature deserves an A+. Make Minigun at least 100x more effective!

I like it in some cases, but it's a bit weird when someone levels up when you're flying by and the sound dopplers.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's doable with the sound engine, but some sounds just don't sound right with the doppler effect, such as the level up. The doppler effect doesn't really make sense the way it's handled. I shouldn't hear it when I'm passing something at walking speed or turning around.

Yeah, the piano music in Belle's Saloon while i'm turning around is very disconcerting.

That part is AWESOME. It's like I'm listening to a really old phonograph record or something.

What I find awesome is that it appears that they have used some holophonic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holophonics) samples in the game. Basically if you use headphones, you could almost swear what you were hearing is actually going on around you.
The best example is in the little park that is to the west of the Ren Center in MC. You can hear a bird call and I swore the first few times I heard it with my headphones on I was hearing a bird just outside my house - until I realized the window in my room was closed.
If you want to hear what I'm talking about in longer samples, there are a few MP3s here (http://www.snesclassics.com/Virtual_Audio.php). This effect only works with headphones, so plug yours in and give the samples a listen!

The wolf howling/dog barking in the desert used to trick me as well.
My 'favorite' sound is somewhere embedded in the background noise of MC. If you listen to all the people talking and murmuring and so on... every once in a while you'll hear sort of a "wuhoohuuooo" noise. Everytime it makes that noise I make it IRL to annoy my roommate and now he hears it too.
