Maybe the devs could write a bit of code that would look at each character's completed quest list and then spawn an inventory item for them that grants whatever amount of xp required to get them where they should be? Im sick of running out of quests, I ran out at 29 30 and bleeding 31!!

Lies.

I'm two bubbles away from lvl 31 and i have lots of quests to do, 3 of them aren't even in Monster Island and i'm pretty sure that they would fill those 2 bubbles and more since they're the "Kill Dr. Destroyer" quests and the "take down Teleios" quest.

And i've never encountered a single gap in quests.

Welcome to the past 4 days. The devs made it this way to lengthen the time it takes to level. Enjoy your grind.

It was adjusted to this stage because people where blowing through the game and only getting to see maybe 1/4th of the game at best. Now its to the point where you have to do about 3/4ths of the game to make it all the way through. And they have stated they will continue to look at the trouble areas and adjust it as needed. The test server already has one of these adjustments in place for the teens levels.

It's a ongoing process and it will forever be in a state of flux.

I wonder if when you level a alt at the current exp rates if you will be in the same position.

they are going out of their way to **** us off, that mission was already annoying and unrewarding, now they added a timer to it too?

It's definitively impossible to find any gaps in quests(unless they come after lvl 31, then i dunno) but there are plenty of quests to do.

Tutorial
Crisis Desert
Crisis Canada
Desert

Milenium City

Milenium City
Desert
Canada

Rinse and repeat, that and there are countles missions that you get from Socrates, the Nemesis missions, some of the misions that Civilians give you give full Xp, there are open quests/missions/things, lairs AND repeatable quests, AND at lvl 30 you get to go to Monster Island Crisis, then Monster Island and at lvl 32 you get to go to Lemuria, how anyone can run out of quests if beyond me.

Yep, it makes me wonder if they actually want us to reach 40.

Also i thought they wanted us to play alts and such? because at this rate it will be a pain to reach 40 on one character.

Well. You educate us then. Its pretty damn common to run out of missions and people have done 400 missions when they run out around 31. Either the game does a bad job at directing people to the areas you have visited and most have not or the content is thin. Personally I lean toward content is thin.

I did, did all the civ misions listed and used up all the mission contacts under search for an emergency. I've also completed every solable mission in canada, MC, and the desert... It only got me to 28

I was 21 the day the patch came out though, someone who was a higher level when the patch hit would obviously not have any gaps or not as many as I did.

Like i said, i dunno if you run out of quests after lvl 31, i've also heard people complain about that so it might be true, but i can definitively confirm that there is not a single gap in quests 'till lvl 31, many people have complained that there are gaps at lvl 18-19 and 29.

Now, if you consider gap "I ran out of quests that are my lvl" then that's entirely diferent, but i personally do quests even if they're lvls above me.

Edit:

I was below 20 when the Patch hit. And at lvl 28 you've got plenty of Teleios missions in Canada. At 29 you can go to Monster Island.

Shuma you have to make a new character to understand this it really only affects characters after the release patch. Characters started before have a XP advantage from earlier quests.

You do, but the content just isn't there, you eventually run out of steam again and are stuck with a single bugged quest that you can never finish.

You guys running out of content, do you even touch PvP at all? I'm not suggesting its mandatory, but if you're having such issues with content, doing the Prison scenario a few times per level goes a long way to fill any gaps.

One reason I'm refuse to make an alt at this time.

For you guys running out at 38-40 if i get to 34 before heading to lemuria do you think I will still be grinding after 38?

(I kinda preemptived by running scared straight before the nerfs enough for 1.5-2.0 levels, )

I am currently 32.5 on Monster Island with quite a bit of missions still there I know there are some missions back in Canada 35+ that I have opened up (trying to hold off on those until I do some more MI and lemuria missions though)

nemesis 3-4 missions since 25 (32 Now) equaled about 1 bubble of experience at current xp bonus rates.

maybe a little, but if you go at 34 instead of 32 it couldn't be more than 4 or 5 stronghold matches at most.

I found several gaps in quests. I remember one at around level 17 in MC.

I just went through aother one at 21 in Canadian Wilderness.

What people forget is that the Quest Givers LOCK YOU OUT of taking quests until you are the correct level.

So if there are 5 level 15 quests, and then there are 5 level 18 quests.

If you somehow complete those 5 level 15 quests and you do NOT make it to level 18, then you NEVER SEE those 5 new level 18 quests.

Therefore there are people that will complain about gaps in the quests. And other people who will say that they see absolutely no gaps.

I know I have gone through several gaps, and had to travel to Desert and do some low level quests before I was able to move on.

If you're trying to play exclusively in one are, maybe. But if you're willing to move between Canada, the desert and MC in addition to checking for emergencies, picking up missions from passers by, doing public quests, etc... there shouldn't be any gaps.

I completed 400 missions by level 31. That's with grinding in the low 20s and low 30s.

I am constantly out of missions, and have to spend about half of every level grinding.

When I get missions, they are 2-4 levels higher than me.

The content gap sucks.

Myself, as an alotholic, I would preffer NOT to see all the content with one character.
It gives the opportunity to do deifferent things with different characters.

It is funny how cryptic handled this side of thing differently from CoX to CO.
CoX encouraged altisis (88 slots to start with, 132 at the realease of CoV) versus 8 or 16 here.
CoX had multiple zones of the same level and CO seems focused on having each character forced to see all the content.

At the end of the day, if it surely will lengthen the journey for one character, the risk is to diminish the envy to create alts and thus to stop playing a few time after the first characters hits the level cap.
