Does the qularr pistol replacer still drop in the tutorial

Does anyone know the drop rate on this particular replacer or if it still drops in the tutorial zone? The reason I ask is because I've already attained the Flyswatter perk (1,000 qularr) and have yet to see it drop. I also havn't seen it drop from any other qularr outside of the tutorial. Does this thing still drop or is it just super rare? :confused:

It does drop. Got one earlier today.

I've brought TONS of toons through the tutorial and seen maybe, MAYBE, 2 or 3 of these pistols so they defintly seem rare.

I read somewhere on this forum that an item you can craft looks just like this gun, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Do you remember which crafting spec it belonged to? None of the ordnance replacers look like it.

Really? I'm on my sixth toon through there and I've found it twice already. I must be pretty lucky as I thought it was just a fairly common, ugly drop.

Always drops for me at the public quest, ironhead or whatever where you have to defend the cannon. Just do that a couple times.

Yes it drops there but the item is it not worth atm coz. that the Qularr Pistol & Two-Gun Mojo don't work together in a munitions framework.

ummm ya they do... also the pistol is worth insane money because of its -25% resist all for 14seconds effect. Notice I said effect, not Proc.

so you shoot someone once, and now everyone deals 25% more damage to them.

Seems a bit excessive for a level 2 item. I got one, just didn't look at the effects very closely. of course at 40 you'd either give up a lot of stats or change items a lot.

I've been farming for this too. Defeated over 1000 Qularr and still haven't had this drop. Is there a certain place to farm them for better drops on this item? I have extra Energy Sniper Rifles, but can't get these to drop for me...grrr...:(

I just ended up buying one from the AH for 3g.

I'm not sure I would've spent that had I known what the bullets and sound effects were, but it's still another nifty piece for my collection of guns. ;)

For anyone wondering, the bullets look like oval-shaped green blobs, and the gun shoots out a small burst of mini blobs (which look more like 4-leaf clovers). The sound is... hard to describe, lol. It's a weak and hallow sound a futuristic blaster would make, and then it makes a sticky slimey noise when it hits a target.

The item unlocks a costume piece (Qularr style organic pistols.) Are you saying that the costume piece doesn't display with TGM? Was working fine on my munitions guy last night.

I dont think it's that common but it does drop. Even with my extreme altis I have only ever picked it up once.

The few times I have had it drop for me seems to be near the Mayor's mission in the tutorial. I don't think I have seen it drop anywhere else.

I did get a Qularr rifle (I think it's a rifle I'd have to check) while doing the Remote Access mission on Monster Island.

I got it with my munitions character, killed almost 1000 qularr and got to level 9 doing the Ironclad open mission until it dropped (I just repeated it 3 or 4 times a day for almost a week). I am really disappointed because I do much more damage with standard pistols than with this. I thought it would be an advantage not only a costume unlock.

it did still drop when i made my last toon,i got 2 pistols whithin a half hour!:O i must put the other one up 4 sell soon

I have looted 10 of them in the last two weeks on two different characters, all near the eggs in the beginning of the tutorial, though I also ground out the 5k for the title on each toon as well.
