I play in full screen and I can't count the number of times I have alt+Tabed out of the game in the middle of a fight, or hit the windows key. Both minimizes the game and in a close fight that means I am dead. Is there any way to disable those keys.

And befor anyone says it, yes I did a search and I can't find a way to do this.

I'm all for that but I'm not sure if a game can disable it

Pop the opposite end of a spoon under the key and twist - Sorted

Keep it nearby in case you need it

most of the gaming keyboards have a "game mode" that disables the windows button. Logitech G15, Saitech Eclipse, etc...

Or just do like the rest of us and use a 360 controller then your finger will be nowhere near that pesky windows key :)

I don't have a gaming keyboard, as I use my computer for more then just gaming and an ergonomic keyboard is much better for those other uses. As for getting a 360 game pad, I have always prefured Keyboard+Mouse over the sloppy controls of a game pad.

As for games being able to disable those keys, I know number of games that disable botht he windows key and alt+Tab while in Full Screen. I would just like to know how to do it in this game. Or if they don't have that option ATM if they could put it in.

Certain keyboards, even non-gaming ones, may be able to disable via the software that comes with. I know Logitech's software can disable the Windows key on their keyboards if the keyboard itself doesn't have a toggle on the keyboard itself. If it's on the keyboard itself, it'll probably have the Windows logo and be a switch or button on the top row.

As far as alt-tab, there may be a Windows for that, but if I remember right, it's kinda buried in there. I'd have to check and it may only be for XP (which is where I vaguely remember it).

here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/216893) works in both xp and vista, don't know about alt+tab though, may want to stop using alt as an important key, or check the games options to see if it has disable alt+tab in full screen like alot of games do
