View Full Version : I have a utility item that says it unlocks a cape.

But when I look at the tailor edit menu, I don't see any new capes. What am i doing wrong here, or do i need to meet another requirement?
It's the Mantle of Until for reference.

It should show up as an emblem for your cape. Once you equip it, load up the cape and then when you go to pick the icon for your cape it will be there.

Do I have to keep the item equipped to keep the emblem on the cape?

I had something similar, it said it was a perk reward and I wouldnt get it till I killed 1000 something or other. It might be something like that where you need to earn it first.

oh wait, it also may be that you didnt look in the last tab on the "choose your costume" screen. It has a symbol of a chest on it. (like a treasure chest kinda). Click on that tab and there should be something listed there that you can click on. Thats how I got mine. but I think it is only available for the character who received the perk or whatever. so that character needs to see the tailor...

I had one of these but I disassembled it by accident. Is it possible (or even that important) to get it back?

You shouldn't need to. It should have unlocked the costume piece as soon as you got it.

Don't you need to equip it before you unlock the costume piece...?
(Ie, equip it, unlock piece, then remove it and piece still there?)

Not for the Mantle. It is not an item that normally goes into your inventory. The exception being the one that is given to you as a quest reward.
