Hey y'all. Just did the PAX 09 thing yesterday (no, I am not the guy that won the contest. Just live near Seattle). Here are some pics of some of what I saw there.
I met this lady.

For some odd reason when I talked to her I felt like I should be getting trained for a travel power. All she had to offer was hover. LAME. So I moved on.
Next I ran into this lady,

Mind-melting-something-or-other. She seemed nice. Kind of tall.
As for the rest of the convention.. I have been to a couple of different conventions like this before (COMICON 04 and 07, Blizzcon 05) but nothing could prepare me for this. :eek:

Yes this is a mechanical bull with some wierd arcane horse thing on it. Ladies and Gentlemen, Geeks now come in the redneck variety. :p
Today, if the line isn't too long and I won't miss some panels I want to see I will get in line to ride the horse/bull thing. And to help capture the moment I will get my almost Sister-In-Law (my girl friend's sister-in-law) to take pictures.
