Good guys keep their promises. That’s what Mind Slayer told me. We’re predictable that way. But bad guys are predictable, too.

Not bad at all. Very "Classic heroes vs villains" feel to it, without being too silly or flat. Good read.

I enjoyed reading it. Thanks to the writer. Though I just wonder....
Was Mind Slayer just setting up us the bomb?

How about moving this off the home page where patch notes SHOULD be instead of second rate stories...sorry, I thought it was boring.

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the official fiction instalments :)

too bad this level of work in the story was not put directly into the game to give your character a little "investment" into the game. :(

i enjoyed the story very much. very well written. Definatly not a second rate story as Tigerwof thinks.
Sorry for those who are disgruntled and dont like a little life added to the homepage.

I can't help but think these are the stupidest villains alive... When you can control minds, why break in to the museum yourself? Especially when you're trying to put up a front of legitimacy. It's Lex Luthor stealing Hostess fruit pies all over again!

It was pretty well written, Einwolf brings up the classic point but hey, it's drama not realism
My biggest thing was It really ticked me off her talking about doing things that we can't do in the game
If we're all in this universe then Witchcraft shouldn't be able to cast a spell to hide them if there's no power like that on the sorcery tree those kinds of things always bother me.

This was a rather entertaining one. It does a good job of showing Champion's roots as a tabletop game. The ambush the Champions set up was just like the kind of thing any given gaming group would have come up with.
