Hello,
My main character has reached level 25, and I've realised that I have no idea what kind of nemesis he should have.
Nautiloid is his name, and he's using Darkness powers, with crafting in the 'Alien Biology' aspect of Arms.
In the rough back story I've sketched out, he is the material projection of some monstrous, Lovecraftian horror from beyond the limits of our universe, acting like a hero because it's a fun thing to do and he likes saving the nice, squishy, happy, warm blooded citizens and lost hikers of the Champions Universe.
I know that the nemesis is, in story terms, not known to my character before they meet at the Museum, so really I'm looking for a thematically appropriate enemy.
Has anyone got any ideas? In return I'd be happy to suggest ideas for anyone else's nemesis.

He's threatened by the sudden appearance of this "creature" and takes it into his own hands to "hunt" him down and "save" the city, but this hunt becomes an obsession as more and more people end up getting hurt, which makes him a villian.
probably some kind of munitions/powerarmour thing, because he;s just human he relies on technology.

A Call of Cthulhu-esque investigator who has took it into his head that as your character is a projection of an ancient evil, they must defeat you. Cue a Sherlock Homes-esque looking gentleman using Sorcery with a gang of lackies using Munitions.

Based on this and your picture the nemesis should obviously be a cosmic fisherman. Or space pirate.

Your character is a projection of a Cthulu-esque creature from another dimension. Your character has a penchant for heroics. What if the projection into our dimension had a prism like effect? There could be other "versions" of the projection with different inclinations.
Go for a similiar look, but with a differnt colour scheme. You could make the powers similiar and recolor them, or you could select other completely different powers.
My 2 cents. Make that my 2 cryptic bucks.

Alien Biology naturally leads to an Alien Henchman at the very least..
The Light to Dark angle could mean a Nemesis as a Misguided Celestial version of the Inquisition..
So many fun plays on themes available to you.. I chose a Supernatural as a Nemy for my Force/Ma and Alien posse that look like MA Qulaar.. Nice fun with them. think King Piccolo and cybermen..
Then the End of Beta event had fast promotions and I can tell you having a lvl 11 geared toon chased by lvl 40 supernaturals was a bad idea... But now with a parity to your My.. its great fun..
The Best was my Cyborg Cowboy having a Evil posse of Robots chasing after them... so many variations in the types of Henchman. It's priceless when the villains around start fighting your Nemesis Henchmen is some competition to see who gets a you first.

Or you could go with the other direction, and have your Cyborg Cowboy chased down by 'Real' cowboys, jealous of the attention that a technological creation is getting. Or go with a White Hat/ Black Hat cowboy theme.
This is the trouble, there are so many poissibilities, but I just end up wanting more freedom.
Anyways, I think I'll work on some sort of alien-pirate idea, something a little light-hearted, silly, and in keeping with Nautiloid's none-too-serious concept. Pictures when it's made! Thank you for all your help, and keep any good suggestions coming until then.
As a side note, if anyone else posts a request for nemesis ideas, I'll happily edit my original post to a set of guidelines for the thread, and it can even be made a sticky for anyone seeking creative input for the creation of their nemesis.
