Electric Build - pimp it!

Have been trying to synthesize a lot of the good electric build comments.

Please let me know feedback on the build below.

-- Sort of running out of ideas after 26 or so.

-- Also, can't tell whether I should take Regen on a END / REC build (since Regen apparently scales with REC), or if PFF (END-based) will be better assuming it is fixed.

Also can't tell if a END/CON build might be better - stacking REC though gear, and relying more on Ionic Reverberation to refill the battery.

Haha I think you took some of my advice :D. As a side note the Champion Builder is wrong about the Matter - Energy Union advantage for electric sheath. It costs 2 points not 1. I assume that you will only be spamming Gigabolt, but if you want to charge it you will need electric form.

I am personally running End/Rec on my electric guy. I took Regen at 29 just to have something to switch to if I wanted more survivability. If you are still searching for things to pick up you should grab at least one active heal as they never hurt.

Also, do you plan on ever using chain lightning after you grab lightning arc and gigabolt? If you arent then I suggest you retcon out of it as soon as possible and replace it with lightning arc.

Aside from my questions your build looks fine. There is no harm in picking up Electric Form for when you are doing 5mans.

Thanks! I wondered about dropping Chain Lightining -- except one poster said Chain L + Ionic was a great way to get back endurance when you've run dry (letting Ionic Reverb fill you back up).

Should i spec out of it now? I won't be able to afford to very soon.

Also, anyone feel strongly about the ionic advantage on the end builder?

Well I have done the first 36 levels without Ionic Reverberation as a End/Rec build and I only noticed a lack of end during pvp. I have yet to pick up any power or advantage that gives end back I don't think it is very necessary but if you feel the need to take one I don't see why not.

True, works wonders with gigabolt (more spam ftw... heh) but it is not a must. If you don't have any pressing skills you need to take by all means pick up Ionic Reverberation.

I read some other post about electricity builds, Im working on a char myself right now. I hear a lot of people giving the advice of staying away from electrocute and that there are better holds out there. This prob because you wan't to start using lightning arc with never strikes twice as soon as possible.

Although I would really like your guys opinions about what would be a good alternative and which holds will proc lightning arcs advantage.

Any hold. It doesn't even have to be your own hold. Heck, even the flailing from heatwave counts towards the advantage.

I do not understand why people don't like Electrocute. Maybe because it does not have any heavy front end damage, or it hits nearby mobs with 100ish damage on a full charge. I use it and see no problems. It lasts longer than a full Lightning Arc charge at rank 1 on anything except those immune to holds and players in pvp who have break free powers.

But grab any hold you see fit. They all work. Roots do not so it has to be a hold.
