Shotgun sound

As far as I know, shotguns have a very grating and angry sound when fired in real life.

I've heard that music/sound sets the mood and spirit of a medium. I suggest an upgrade to the shotgun sound.

I agree. Audio people at Cryptic, go listen to some shotguns in say, DOOM. Or other FPS games. A good strong cinematic shotgun noise is badly needed; the old COH standby currently in place sounds like someguy hitting a plastic garbage can lid with a hammer. :(

I don't think this is limited to Shotgun. Quite a lot of the Munitions powers sound feeble. SMG Burst sounds like a toy. AR isn't any better.

Anyone still got the first Half Life installed, fire it up and rip off a burst with the AR in that. THAT is what we're looking for.

Guns should go BANG not 'phut'.
