I agree - it is extremely handy to see who has aggro (and their health) - especially in escort type missions. Please add this feature - used it all the time in LOTRO.

is was the only thing that made PvP in WoW even managable in any way. CoH spoiled me with this feature too.

I usually go into my hud names and set it to have health bars always float over teammates heads.
And for friendlies in general I'll set it to display when damaged.
It works pretty well for me.

Also, in the controls settings there is an option for Assist Target on Attack.

This sort of does what you want although there is no visual indicator. If you have a friendly targetted and do an attack it will attack who they are attacking.
If you have an enemy targeted and use a heal it will heal the enemy's target.
