Location of observation team in Stronghold mission?

I'm finishing up soloing the Stranglehold mission in the Stronghold and none of my SG members or i have been able to find the optional part of the mission - checking in with the observation team that's supposed to be on the ridge above the entrance. Can anyone give a clue as to how to find them?

UPDATE: Found them. They're on a platform just below the ridge across from the entrance door to the interior of the prison. There's a helpful little tool there, too.

Could you take a SS for the wiki? Might help other folks find them as well.

It simple to find. They are literally opposite the entrance to the prison up on the cliff edge.

You know you are there because there are 3 dead bodies (think it 3) and a pair of binculars.

Use the binoculars and a mass bombing run will be done on the ramp up to the door where there about 30 enemies. Clearing them all out :)

I missed them first time i don it, but second time i find them pretty easily :)

didn't you get the optional mission to find them AFTER you go in though?

sorry to hijack this thread but did any of you guys choose the reward with the "?" icon for the reward and if so what does it do any clue?

Someone mentioned that they picked up the reward and it disappears.

Think I'll hold on to the quest until I figure out what that "Menton" reward is supposed to be...

The optional part came with the main mission.

Now, i'm not certain of this, but i think i know what the Menton Defeated reward did. When i hover over my character image next to my health and endurance bars, a pop up displays, showing stats. At the bottom, it now says "6.5% damage and healing * bonus". I don't think that was there before, but i could be wrong. Can someone confirm?

And i don't know what you mean by "take a SS for the wiki".

That is your bonus for having stars. 6.5 means you have the full 5 stars. You get stars by staying alive.
