Best Buy Damage Resist Item?

I have entered my Best Buy retail key, and received my Grond Pet, but I cannot find the Damage Resistance item. I have checked the C Store under Special Unlock tab, and it's empty. Anyone know where to find it?

Wow - didn't read the pre-order perks (a Best Buy was close to where I was working the day I decided to see if CO pre-order boxes were available); but I'm in the same boat - got the Grond figure, but no DR item as yet; and I've now also activated my retail copy as opf yesterday.

(BTW - let me add my support for BOTH the defensive change patch; hope you don't change a thing there, and the EXP change patch - as leveling was way too quick - although the Patch Notes could be handled better.) Still, overall, a very smooth MMO launch so far).

I put a ticket in on it Tuesday (the 1st). The ticket was closed with an immediate auto reply, apparently it was going in the que and someone would get to it in about 24 hours. it's been 48, but, as I can't log on, I can't find out if it's been fixed. I oon't suppose it has.

The ticket auto-response also said to contact a GM if I needed individual assistance. I guess that's next

I was able to get on for about an hour this morning before I was kicked off with no warning and I did not see any DR item added to any of my toons.

Me either. Missing my dmg resist item as well. I dont figure it to be all powerful or anything. So I'm not that worried. I would like to have it though just cause Im suppsoe to and because I want to know what its going to do exactly.

The ticket for me states something along the lines of they have not released these items and will do so at a later date. sorry for the cunfusion, check the forum for announcements concerning this.

The form letter I got from my GM ticket said wait until the 1st of september, check the c store, log out and log back in, check gain, then, if no item....contact them again. all in another form letter.


Very odd that they won't actually respond to the issue with real information.

OK, followed instructions from the second form letter and called Billing. They got a GM to contact me right away, and the GM figured it out eventually.

For the record, the item seems to be of permanent use, and uses an item slot (c1-c5) rather than a defense slot. +5% physical DR, with a 12.5% chance to trigger a DR buff on low health.

Sounds more long term useful than hover boots. :-)

I got it from the GM, who put in in my special unlock page of the c store. it goes in the device slots, label c1, c2, etc. the ones you get to using the control key.

The item does exist, and they tell me it'll be a high priority fix, but it couldn't hurt to put in a GM ticket and get them to fix it in real time, rather than waiting. It worked for me.

As of today, it appears to be fixed/available. It showed up for me today in the C-Store under Special Unlocks. It is named "Inborn Tenacity".

I like the item but I wish we could turn off the fire around my head that it causes. While this fits my main char it will be weird to see my PA with just a fiery head, circuits over-heating.

I've got the game via steam and I've been in the c-store in game to check for the two visual effect items but there was just one npc for the creation of supergroups. So did am i wrong at all, was it just the wrong npc or is it an issue?

That's not the C Store, that's the Champions HQ.

The C Store is found in your UI, click the Champions logo at the top left of the minimap and select C Store.
