View Full Version : CO dull missions shock probe

Is it just me, or are the missions in CO just a bit, well, *dull* ? I mean, there are no discernable story arcs, misions take at most about 5 minutes, and you don't come away feeling particularly satisfied that ur character has made a *big difference* to the world they inhabit.

Would it be possible to get a bit more (gasp!) depth to the story telling? I've only been playing a week and I'm already teetering on the edge of a coma. It would be good if there were more contacts and, maybe, a few different contact types for different character types (martial artists, armour, sorcery, psi etc.). Also, can we *please* take a leaf out of the CoX book and be able to *call* the contacts? It is the 21st century after all.... I could e-mail Canada faster than it takes to 'port back to my contact.

Bottom line is: Devs, *please* can we have decent story arcs to tie the playing together??

Well I'm only level 20 but so far been involved in a purported kidnap and search of the Mayor's daughter, not got to the rescue yet, in Millenium City. There is also a whole series of quests where the organization PSI is using its front, called MIND, to influence police offers to give you mission to take down the leader of the Purple (could be another colour) Gang because he is the son of the ex-leader of PSI who was recently deposed.
