Has EXP been removed from PvP?

I've been played all day now and it seems that I'm gaining ZERO EXP from the PvP..Is this meant to happen?

It'd be a shame since I liked to queue for PvP while doing missions for a nice EXP gain while mixing it up. Also is it me or has the game become a lot tougher recently? If I make a damage dealer I seem REQUIRED to get a defensive power making Avenger build pointless.

Note that you get XP in a lump sum at the end of the match, not per kill.

Lucid are there any plans to implement an ability to lock PvP xp? It would be nice to be able to lock it so I can't play with friends at the highest level in the set and not have to worry about dinging. Another solution I'd like is being able to play any arena at any time. I like the cage match but not the tech arena as much. It would be nice to be able to play either whenever I want.

Give me a break dude. Twinks in wow only dominated because there was gear and enchants they could get that a normal player just had no chance to aquire through normal play. And they would end up with literally 4x as many hit points and just 2-shot every player who was leveling up.

In CO you could barely squeak out a few more stats than the average player wearing their mission rewards even if you tried.

Forced leveling out of the fun brackets and into the dead high end brackets is the stupidest thing about PvP in this game. Period.

I would def like to see pvp matches split up into their own seperate categories. Not only for the reasons mentioned, but for perks aswell, so you know where your at instead of trying to guess, oh yeah I've done 22 apoc matches, and I think....5 UTC matches...just split them up.

Lump sum....

you get 13 500 xp for a 30 minute apocalypse match if you win.... you really don't want people to level up by doing pvp...
