I don't recall the name and can't seem to log back in to CO. However, the mission is to taint biological samples that PSI has access to.
I used a level 23character who had four stars at mission start. Aside from field drones, all of her powers including her passive defense (invulnerability) are from power armor. This includes energy shield and unbreakable. The mission was +1 level to me.
The surprising part was when I got inside. Going down one passage, I found a spawn composed of (Tough) henchmen and villains. With invulnerability's reduced damage resistance, they just tore my character down in moments, and block (with energy shield) helped very little. When I took the other passage, I found a spawn of three henchmen and one (tough) henchman. I tried to attack them, using minigun + micro munitions, and was dropped from full health to about 20% in moments, and then taken down the rest of the way very rapidly through energy shield.
First, why are missions that you can't share spawning multiple tough mobs, including tough villains? Second, I realize and agree that regen, PFF, and invuln all needed a nerf, but this hit too hard. Should a group of minions, even with a tough minion, be destroying my character in seconds? To the point that block is nearly useless? I also had healing patches, which didn't do a bit of good.
I was trying to test my character's current soloability. I'd already given up on the DEMON mission at the same level when I was stalemated by the master villain inner circle member at the end, who healed himself every time he got to 1/3rd health, and healed himself back up to 2/3 with life drain while I was blocking...and who was casting holds with no special attack warning.
