How do I make a bow stay in my hand?

I have an archer and he has a quiver. Unfortunately, his bow only appears when he shoots. Is there a way to make him carry a bow around? A costume piece? Something? Anyone?

It bloody should be possible!

Devs, consider this a suggestion thread. My munitions guy certainly wouldn't tuck his rifle away for any reason short of a presidential meeting. (Perhaps to discuss a pardon?)
