What to do after 30, post nerf, ideas that aren't grinding 35k mobs?

So, hit 31 and found I had no missions I could get anymore in MC or the desert. Canada is still gray to me.

So, I go to Monster Island. There are a few quests that work for me, then I start hitting the 32-33 quests. Yesterday that worked out ok.

Today.

The Orange/Red missions are too tough to complete, and there aren't enough of them with enough xp that even grouped they would be worth it. I have no missions behind me in the zones, beyond a now nerfed repeatable one.

Mobs give me so little xp, I'll need to kill 35416 Henchman to level to 32 at 144 xp a pop. (5.1 million to level)

Anyone know what I'm missing?

Your not missing anything. You have 4 options at this point.

1) reroll and hope cryptic gets this fixed before you get your second char to 30 and get even more irritated.

2) do pq's over and over and over and over again till your level

3) PvP for the xp.

4) Grind out mobs for the next few days.

Yeah, I'm in the same situation as many are as well with being out of missions at 31.

This is a really easy fix too! all they need to do is having any player within the range of 29-31 get e-mails from Socrates for some emergency missions in MC that give some good XP.

I really don't want to grind mobs for hours on end or do PQs until my eyes bleed to get to 32 which even then I'll still be behind in mission level.


It's launch day and I'm stuck at 31..... That Gamestop $5 restocking fee for not picking up my pre-order is looking very tempting about now.

Its unbelievable that they put in all that socrates email spam in your low 20s when there really isn't a problem - especially if you know about stronghold (why exactly do you never get told about it in-game?!) but completely ignore the huge gap in this level range. Really, those missions need to be 'radio missions' that are available at any level at any time - there's really not reason not to do that and it shouldn't be a difficult change.

TBH I'm surprised more makers of MMOs havent figured this out yet. Try starting on the endgame content first, then move forward. Players will only be lvl1-10 a day at most, but will be at the level cap alot longer. This has happened in almost all MMO's I play, p[layers reach the level cap and make an alt or wait for something to be added. This game has a TON of potential, just hoping they realize it.

I am level 31 and have nothing other than the 2 bugged quests left to do. Cant get into lemuria, have done nemesis missions, all of the missions available on monster island, checked the emergencies and have even cleared a few dungeons.

I believe the only bits I may not have done is the 1-15 in canada as I did that in the desert... Any ideas what else i can do ?

It say the same thing as when you get to 39, you have nothing in it anymore.
You just have to wait for a patch with content to fill out the gap or grind it.

the other repeatable mission in canada is still awarding 12k xp last i check, not scare straight but the one to get lab documents.

That's exactly what I did except in desert. I'd only recommend it if you have a bubble or two left. Regardless the L.10 quests award ~10k XP.. it's not far off what you would be earning from the other L.30 quests. I wish there was a way to see quests that you've out levelled.. it might help with the grind.

Once you hit 32 it's smooth sailing again until at least 37-38. Then it's grind time again.

Yup, i only have 3 PQ's left, but I did the frog one in canada oh....roughly 40 times to get from 31-32 they basically need to add about 200-300 missions via the crime computer so everyone doesnt have to do every single mission the game has to offer.

Agree 100%. And while some might say don't level so fast. Before they nerfed exp., hell even now, you can get to 25 in a day if not more. I'm not 40 yet but am running out of quests in low 30s. This game has a TON of potential and I plan on sticking with it for awhile. Just hoping the next things they do (Blood Moon, etc) deal with end game/cap content since most of their player base will be 40 in a month.
