View Full Version : New tank build since the new patch?

Hey all I'm just wondering what would be a good tank build now with this new patch and nerf to the defensives. I was thinking of mixing some Might and possibly force or telepathy for some aoe threat. I heard Invuln plus defensive combo is still the best way to build your defenses but can anyone verify that? or post the build they are using?

I posted a build just as you were posting this. Take a look there. Still has Invulnerbility, but I can still see its use in the long run of the fight even if nerfed.

I am currently using a primary Might/Fire build with resurgence from Supernatural. My toon is level 25 and has run through most content without much problems. Solo or with group.
Last night I found out that even with the nerf I can take on the same amount of enemies at once as prior to the patch. I cannot say if this is because I have already pretty good 'gear' or because my powers are already enhanced.
This build is mostly about getting aggro, hit a few times, block the bad attacks and then pyre the living daylight out of the mobs and finish them off with a few punches or demolish the more resilient ones.
The extra heal comes in handy most of the times but is usually because you've aggroed an extra group of mobs. Dark power mobs usually make it hard for me to kill but physical based ones are pretty easy as are piercing or fire ones.

You stated that you are using Invul the link shows def combo and defiance.
