I had to keep dismissing and summoning them in every new room I entered.

I noticed this too, they would just get dismissed randomly and I would never figure out why but I think you answered my question. Thanks

I am doing the same thing over and over again for every new room..
PvP -- it wont even follow sometimes into the cage...

It seems only rudimentary pet AI is enabled. Any obstacle is too tough for them.
They were smarter...i think lol
