Often the weapong wont show and you are simply beating on the enemy with an air weapon.

This seems like a pretty big bug. I've seen it in Dual Wielding and claws as well. Claws was the inverse problem too where I choose "none" for the claws and choose clawed hands. But the default metal claws would appear randomly.
On a related note, it would be nice if the weapons where more persistent. Then just appearing/disappearing for combat. Some kind of sheathing/unsheathing mechanic like WoW has would be cool.
