So, this play through, i missed the quest Gallant Colonel Gertz. The quest didn't spawn for me on this trip through. I kinda shrugged-- I'd done it three times before, and I didn't need the XP, maybe they took it out between Beta and Live (after all, there was no way NOT to beat Gertz going through that instance anyhow, right?).
So, twenty hours down the line, I discover that I needed that quest not only to get the perk for Out of the Wasteland, but to get the perk for Shadow of the Destroyer all the way at the end of the game.
I've contacted a GM and was rather brusquely told that there is no mechanism whereby this can be remedied.
This is terrible, terrible design-- not that there should be no missible content (the Foxbat thing in the invasion zone is adorable), but it surely shouldn't prevent you from accomplishing things thirty levels down the line, especially when it's missed as a result of a bug.
I'm extremely disappointed, and it's substantially souring my perception of the game.
