'When i target something i get a sort of wireframe cage around the targetted object and anything near it. The cage is red when i target hostiles and green when i target friendlies.
Anybody else experienced this and/or know how to fix it?'

I get that too - think it's intentional :)

I can understand it being intentional for the thing you are targeting, but when it does it on buildings and objects in the distance that's not intended.

Sorry just looked at the post in your previous thread - thats definitely not intentional - I get a wireframe outline around the targetted object - nothing else. Thats obviously somehow screwed up for you.

I can't be the only one having this problem surely?

I'm experiencing this problem too. Whenever I target an object or character the red or green wireframe shows up behind the target as well. Similar to the screenshot you posted in the other thread.

For what it's worth my graphics card is an ATI Radeon 4850. The game runs fantastic besides this little problem. I have noticed that when I turn the black outline effect off this problem is completely gone.

A couple of people had this problem in the CB as well as all of them were running ATI video cards, are you running one as well Noodz?

I get the same outlines on target and the background objects, its a rather distastefull feature, even when its not targeting everything around it

ATI Radeon HD 4670

I know this is an old thread, but was a fix ever found to this because I'm getting the same issue now and I always just thought it was intentional until I thought to suggest it be removed, but as it turns out it isn't. Could anyone let me know?

Obviously more of a problem with larger enemies and objects, but it is visually displeasing. I am running on an ATI Radoen HD 3600, I uploaded my DxDiag here.

The Red or green outline is actually normal for the object you are tergeting if you have Comic style outlining turned on. What isn't normal however is that it seems to be outlining things that aren't being targeted, and that's a problem. I haven't had this issue with my Radeon 4870 though, luckily. What type of targeting is being used Recticle or Tab?

Yeah I don't have an issue with the red outline for just the target, it's just the things behind. I am using tab targeting for this, although changing from outline to box did solve this problem I would still prefer outline to box since it would be less intrusive.
