Yeah, ran it this morning...I run on high graphics and they stuck out like a sore thumb. If you are running on lower graphic settings, they might be harder to find

Look around for dark areas, they arent hard to see. They are nets/tents and the grond hunters are in there.
Should be around 2 tents per each Green area on the map

Yeah... Just look for big green poop-colored netting on the ground. Might even be able to see a little yellow If you look hard enough. There's even a couple that aren't in the quest marker areas if you're feeling adventurous. Just beware that when you attack them, an infiltrator will jump out and try to surprise buttsecks you.

Wow, this thread illustrates a disparity in display adapters. On mine, these net tents covering the pits were very close to the color of the sand, but a bit darker.
What made them hard to find for me was that in almost all the areas where the pits are, sand storms blow up and hinder my vision, making it harder to pick out the tents. It was a nice touch as far as I was concerned and game me a better feeling that I was tracking down someone who didn't want to be found.

Yeah, from above the nests are easy to find, becomes a lot harder at ground level due to the sandstorm and angle.
I find it comical though that these guys think they could take grond though :P

You might want to put off completing it for a little bit though.
I was going though the perks last night and found one called Pit Viper for finding all 10 pits.

You can get Pit Viper even after you've completed the quest. You only need to step inside or otherwise swoop through the remaining pits to get credit for the perk.
