When grouped, it can be very annoying to have a pedestrian run up to you and give you a timed mission. Since you can't share the quest, nobody else in your group can see the destination on the minimap- and really, why would a group want to do one person's mission when there's so much that they can all do?
Of course, the obvious answer is simply not accept the mission when grouped. However, some of us are ALWAYS grouped.
The other, worse thing about ped quests is that they will run up to you and offer you the mission... while you're in combat, or while talking to a contact. Last night, I was just about to accept the reward for a mission when a pedestrian ran up to me and replaced the contact's mission text with the pedestrian's mission... just as I clicked on the "accept" button. This should NEVER happen.
