View Full Version : The Hunters Hunting still bugged?

I know a fix for this mission went live a while ago but I still can't sem to complete it. I get the mission from the vendor, go beat up the Lt. He then tells me he will talk but when I talk to him he just say he has 'told me everything he knows'.

Am I missing something?

Last time it was bugged, the bug hit if you talked to a Lt. that you didn't kill. If you did that you had to drop the quest and retake it to get it to complete otherwise you'd be unable to take the quests from the Lt. and they'd all just tell you that they already told you everything..

Don't know if anything's changed during headstart or not, but that's the bug I'm familiar with.

Yeah that sounds similar to what I'm getting but I did talk to the same one I killed so I don't know. It's begining to hold me up though. I really need to get it completed so I can move onwards. Does anyone have an idea of a work around? I have dropped and retaken this quest about 6 times :-(

Ive dropped it and redid it 3 times and still cant get it, I even tried to get it while in a party.

What do you mean "didn't kill"? Because you can't kill them. At about half life the Lt.'s all turn to friendly mobs making them unkillable.

And it was still bugged as of yesterday which really ticks me off because I have this gap in my mission perk I can't finish :(

I tried dropping and picking it up close to 10 times, and reported the bug as well (and got the generic 'we are aware of this' reply). Oh well hopefully it will be fixed when I get home from work and try again tonight.

Actually, depending on your level and the ability you use, you can technically one-shot them. :D

Even after this was patched on open beta, I still couldn't complete the mission. So I question whether or not it's actually ever been fixed.

Good point. Now that I'm lvl 19 I will try to one shot them to see if it makes a difference. :cool:

Sorry. Kill was bad semantics. I meant 'beat into submisson'.

Maybe the bug got worse now?

I got past the Lts just fine. The clone bugged for me. And dropping the quest at that stage ment I couldnt take it again because that part is given by the Lts... who of course wont talk to me anymore ;)

yeah I rerolled my first hero in early start because of this stupid quest


I have avoided it since by finding a hunter lt by himself and beating on him all the way by myself entirely

do not talk to someone else's hunter lt!

i seem to be having this problem too. i beat one of the guys into submission, and he told me about eh clone...so i went to see whats up with that. there were some other players there, and not sure what happened, but i didnt finish it. now the patriot guys dont tell me anything. i have dropped it and trid again a few times, but they wont give me the clone. so i cant finish it.
