View Full Version : No Shards, Again?

Well i don't have early start but i wanted to connect to the patch servers to get ready for launch tommorow. Only i can't cause i keep getting the message "No Shards found: You have a ticket with 1 permissions pairs, but no shards found" and the server is listed as down.

Any ideas?

Yeah! I'm getting that too. I'd love to know what that means also.. This time it doesn't go away either. I've been getting it for a bit more than a day now.

Yeah... I bought it yesterday and I've been waiting for this to get fixed.. Thought maybe I'd get to play the headstart.

I also had this problem is OB but it was always resolved with restarting the launcher but now it STICKS. There is no way i can fix it on my side :( :( :(

I'm also getting no shards found, have been since head start happened...

I also never received a pre-order key from gamestop, only my beta key, but according to my account, it says Champions is active.

This issue was not solved!!!! can some dev please comment on it!! We are stuck on the dark right unable to play a game we could in Beta!!

Yup, having same problem except today is the day it supposedly came out to the "public". (Hate how d2d gave beta access but no "early" access).

Get the same message with ticket no permission pairs... etc. In addition, I get to see in the little browser "Welcome to the Launch of Champions Online."

Yea.... I feel welcome all right...

i am getting the same error ...... is it because that is the beta launcher version ??? but then i also see the "Welcome to champions online" and i thought ... YEA !!! but .... boo .... still the same .... the server always is down ????? what is wrong here ..... can some DEV tell us why ..... i have been waiting since friday ....

I brought the dnd thinking i can get the headstart but then doh .... read carefully ... then know only beta access and it already ended ..... then BUY another one from gamestop but they never email any keys .... OMG .... i mean like i spend 100 plus but have yet to even play it .... i mean ... it is official launch right ???

Does it mean I am staying in singapore will have to wait much longer ????

I submitted a ticket regarding this issue please everyone add your own information to the ticket or submit new ones.

The lack of Dev cammunication on this specific issue is quite disturbing.

I downloaded mine from D2D and I still havent recieved my key yet. I think that might be the problem because usually when it says there was no shards found, your account isnt active. I also heard people who purchased digitally will have to wait 12 hours after launch to get there key and actually play champions. I guess all we can do is wait until 12 hours is up and see what happens. ;)

Guys the servers don't open up for general public till 10 am PDT. You are getting that message because you do not have access to the head start. Come 10 am you should be able to get in fine as long as you have an active retail key.

That is not true. When the head start just started i tried logging in for kicks. It did patch but when the game tried to connect to the account server(after patching) it said something in the lines of "You cannot log on at this time"

Just to re establish my point, I am not trying to start playing the game i am trying to patch so i can be sure everything will be good when i get my retail key.

Yeah a while ago I noticed a counter on D2D mmo section page where the preview videos show up.

MO video rolled first and theres a counter which says: Start playing in: 3h 38mins, and it aims directly to 10 am PDT :rolleyes:

No problem man, Its kind of annoying though that this miss communication keep happening all the time. Nothing earth shattering but it is very frustrating

Yeah...I know, but I think we should just try our best to support our devs through their launching process. They do try their very best to get this game playing on hundreds of computers. I feel they are way to busy to actually listen to everyones problems. They are probly going to post a message on this forum about how it launches at 10am, and that we should be patient and ready to play.

Same here. My bro got his key from Gamestop and playing atm with no problem. ...while I got this no shard thing. Also I noticed that the Launcher says ''Server Down''..

*** FIXED - I started working as soon as I added a subscription plan . Even with your free 30 day you have to add a base subscription plan in order to log properly.

I preordered from Gamestop

I have headstart access.

I still have yet to be able to log in.

:mad:help me again please.i cant get in my patch says-no shards found with 1 permission pairs,but no shards were found.i called tech suport but they said it was a fire wall problem so i check my firewall and had the same problem and they told me to call my ip address they dont have a firewall problem.this game is buged i need help or a refund

so i kept getting the no shards error... YOU MUST input a recurring subscription with a game card or credit card, it worked the first time

too bad you can't enter a credit card without first entering a cd key. Those of us that are still waiting for our keys to be emailed to us are still stuck.

Just wondering... how long this game can survive? Everyone is complaint the game play but i still can't access the game... lol... Lucky i really didn't spend too much $ on this "Cheapions Online"... :mad:

I have a lifetime subscription, I have my credit card entered, and I have everything set, it was all working perfectly until today. And its giving me the "No shards found: you have a ticket with 1 permission pairs, but no shards were found." message underneath the patch bar. I have my firewall turned off, and that's not doing anything either.

EDIT: Oh, well nevermind, after the fifth restart of the launcher it started working.
