Hey, I first found the website of this game about last year, maybe longer, and have been waiting for it ever since. And I've been hearing about it alot lately, I didn't get a beta code about it, But I'm pretty sure i'm now going to buy the game, I have been a huge fan of city of heroes so I think I'm going to love this! Anyway, for anyone has played this /and city of heroes/ or not What's better? or is this game worth buying?

If you could tell me stuff about the game :) Are there lots of options? etc etc etc.
Anyway, I'm just starting the forums and this is my first post =) and replies are appreciated, thanks!

I dont think I can tell you which is better to get. They both really do have their advantages and disadvantages.

CO is new, more customizible, potential to grow, faster paced
and more expensive, not as much content yet

CoH has 5 years of content to boast, cheaper price, continually upgraded
and is losing its population, filled with farmers

As for, "is it worth buying", its a new mmo. Its as about as much risk as any new mmo. Will it turn out to be popular? Will it not catch on and slowly die? If you are comfortable buying any new mmo, then I think this is a good bet.

Ahah, Well I need to find a game to play before I go insane waiting for warhammer 40k or diablo 3, I bought the warhammer age of reckoning the day it came out, and thats what scares me. The game is great, one of my fav pvp games. But, It has to little content because it was new. So I am going to go back to it in maybe a year. Maybe this game will be different. But If I am going to buy it should I pre-order it right now?

If there is some little trinket you see on the preorder page that you MUST have, then preorder. But since its only 1 day away, theres no other point to preorder.

Hmmmm, Ok. Is there anyway of me just buying the game and getting a code to activate my account and just downloading it? Or do I have to pick it up at a store, (BTW) what do I spend cryptic points on?

Cryptic bucks are for the in game micro transaction system.

To buy it in a digital download form, you have to go to either Gamestop or Direct2drive. it should be available via steam on launch day.
