View Full Version : POWER REPLACER Costume Unlocks do not carry Sound Effects, and need to!

I noticed today upon building flintlock pistols (which are awesome, good job) I noticed that while they unlock a costume piece, the flintlock pistol sound DOES NOT WORK UNLESS you keep it slotted as a power replacer. This is not an optimal choice, since it kills the idea of character customization since flintlocks should not sound like desert eagles heh.

Besides that the flintlock power replacer does HALF the damage of all other pistol skills when not using the replacer, thus making it a choice between cool sounds and being gimped damage wise.

Any plans to fix this sound issue?

Thank You!

I noticed the same thing with a Qularr pistol I picked up in the tutorial. It changes my pistols, and makes them shoot a cool looking green goo, with accompanying green smoke...but it does 1/3 the damage of stock :/

I agree - I really wish the guns would keep their fire effect and sfx when used as costuming. Or perhaps let us customized those aspects....

Um thats the difference between Power Replacer and Costume Unlock.

The Costume unlock is just the looks of the gun, the power replacer is what puts the bang in your buck.

It still should look and sound the same though IMO when you equip it via tailor or a power replace item (though you shouldn't get any bonuses for switching via tailor, like all those secondary effects.)

exactly, because all most of us want is the change of look and sound, not the stats since most of them thus far are worthless.
