It took you that long to kill Poe? This game is based around doing quest not just relying on mob exp to level. You get like 15k+ exp when you turn in the quest anyway I don't see the point in making a rant abou it.

Depending on your build that encounter will be different... at least you could last that long.

I beat that guy solo, I dont understand why it would only give 1100 exp. I spent time doing it :p Where is the Risk versus Reward?

And no... I am not talking about the "turn in the quest" because that is not instant gratification! If you spend 30-45 minutes with 1 boss just pounding away at him... getting held every two or three attacks :mad: There should be something sweet at the end like a pot of gold or something.

I dunno how long it really was, my husband said it was like 30 minutes. I kept getting held over n over n over n over >.> n over n over.
It was the Poe'wned quest.

Usually I do those boss missions when I have out leveled them 1 or 2 levels... but leveling has slowed down alot >.> at lvl 18ish (I am 19 now) I did this one we were both 19... and it took along time. :\

Ya they definentally changed him to a group quest right before open

He whomped me and a friend real good for about 5 attempts. And he was ez to solo before.

He was always chaining big attacks so it was hard to attack him.

His condem and the big force powers were hitting for 1-2k, 1 shotting us sometimes lol (missed block)

But i see where PP is coming from reward wise though lol :D

I didn't find him to be difficult at all. 30-45 minutes, really? I think I went about 45 seconds with Poe before he was dead.

I solo'ed him at equal level. It took a minute or so at the most. Boosters and Healing patches are very helpful.

I solo'd that quest, but I wasn't level 19 yet. I think I was 17 or 18. He was tough for me that's for sure.

I think the problem I've seen from a lot of people is they try to solo a lot of content without any defensive abilities. You'll have enough abilities to get that super awesome offensive form and you can always go Avenger when you're grouping, but seriously invest in a Defensive Passive (or Active) and play in at least Balanced (Sentinel) mode if you plan on soloing.

Every single character I make gets a defensive passive at level 8. You can't do any damage when you're dead.

Took me less than 3 mins solo with a munitions toon with regen. Even shorter with a group.

Must be the build as it took me less then a minute to take him down, would say no more than a minute at most as munitions using gunslinger (1), 2 gun-mojo (3) and mini-mines (wall of fire.) By the time I got off the second set of mines he was dead, Medusa took longer though that was because I failed to block her hold at the start of the fight. :-P

This was a quick fight for me as well. After about 10 seconds his massive damage reduction dropped and he was dropped seconds later.

As a level 21 the only thing I havent been able to solo is Ape-Plus and Hang Em High.

I didnt build a tanker :p She is a total mix and match, however she does have regen as her passive... but everything else fits her personality... and doesnt so much fit into a "framework".

I think it would be cool if the foes scaled to your build instead of your level :)

I don't know about 15sec, but I've solo'ed him in both CB and OB on at least 4 occasions, and I don't think it's ever taken me more than 5min, even when he was +2 to me.

The OP is doing something wrong... something very wrong.

maybe not 15 seconds.. but pretty close
2 or 3 haymakers at 1750 dmg each (lv 3 haymaker, + dmg boost, + retaliation, + enrage, + defiance)
took him down with ease

It took me 2 tries (stealthing and running away between), but the second try wasn't bad. A few tips that worked for me:

Go in defensive mode with a defensive passive
Any time he's charging up a special power, block
Do as much damage as you possibly can at the very start -- you want to either knock out or severely wear down his PFF before he gets off his first big attack

He went down in about 2 minutes to single blade/invulnerability at same-level without taking me under about 40% health. It's a little tense at first when everything's doing 1hp damage to him and he's dishing out significantly more, but once the PFF is down he drops like a fly.

That is actually about 11 35+ mobs worth of xp, which is relatively pretty generous, hell a level 38 5 man boss only give 7k. Mob xp in general is terrible, but compared to other mobs that is actually pretty good.

45 mins to kill poe ? huh ?? took him down in 1 minute without any issues, dont see how you could make the battle last 45 mins...
