Probably a dumb question but I bought this game online from direct2drive and, as a result, I have zero info on the game itself (eg. powers, research, etc). Is there one source for all of this, like a pdf file, that I can read and understand my choices. My contacts are asking me to choose between science and mysticism, etc and I have no clue which one to take.

In the same boat. I'd love to know what use action figures are but all of the threads are questions about certain figures and how to get them, not what the do.

Most do nothing but look cute and cause lag. Apparently a few will help you in combat but thats the exception not the rule.

At least with other games, Direct2Drive uploads a PDF with a few weeks of release, and it ends up placed on the Documents tab of your account. That probably hasn't happened yet only because we're still pre-release
The three crafting types are pretty similar, excluding the thematic differences, and what you can Research in order to get components/insights (you can only Research equipment that matches your specialty). Checking the plans from inside the crafting tutor menus will get you most of the info you need, though.

They're pets that follow you around. Can only have one active at a time, don't seem to be selectable, and don't seem to have any serious gameplay effects (other than if someone laughs too hard at the mini-Me Doctor Doom... I mean Destroyer look-alike).
