View Full Version : Missing a Quest Line in MC

I've noticed some of my characters get a quest chain from Kodiak (the agent at the gas station near MC), but I'm not consistently getting it. They are kind of a preview to "Poe-wnd", one requires getting a disguise to interrogate a New Purple Gang boss, the other involves deactivating a psi-bomb, fighting a supervillain after which Poe makes a brief appearance. Thematically, I want to finish those quests before going after Poe (not to mention the xp is nice), but in my last two characters I'm not getting the quest to go see him, which triggers the chain (going to see him without getting sent to him doesn't get me anywhere).

Right now, the only time I get to interact with Kodiak is when I finish the Catching Purple Red Handed quest.

Was wondering if anybody knew which contact gives me the quest to see Kodiak and which mission chain needs to be done beforehand.

Wow...I've never gotten any of those, but they sound cool. Anyone who can help would be appreciated. I'd love to do those missions.

The mission is called [16] A Kodiak Moment and its given out by MCDP Chief Surhoff.

Quest chain got broken, before the Chief sent you to the Sgt. outside the prison for a walkabout. He no longer does so. But that Sgt is still the start to that particular quest chain.

So I have to find that cop who needs to be escorted around the neighborhood before you can qualify? That's the missing link! Thank you. It was driving my insane. :)

The police chief should send you to him.

Hah, I always take the guy on walkabout so I never realized he was part of the chain.

Yeah, I usually did it, but lately the "NPCs don't heal" rule was getting him killed unless my character had a good AOE attack, so I was skipping it. Now I did it, and the chief helpfully sent me on the chain I was missing.
