Dual Blades/ Darkness

Could it work? I understand the dual blades set but the darkness set is kind of vague to me do people who have had esperiance with darkness think it could work well with a melee aoe damge or should I respec my energy builder which is shadow bolts currently. My toon is only lvl 3 at the moment and has shadow bolds and blade tempest as powers. In terms of superstats I was think Str/Con or Dex/ego> What would you guys recomend

Only real skill of any merit (imo) is Shadow Embrace which is the close-range (though not really) AoE. It does cone damage and is maintained and does pretty good damage. If you're a bit away from the enemy and need aoe or pull aggro, Shadow Embrace is good. If you went with ego blades instead of dual blade - you could take Shadow Form which boosts ego and shadow power (and with ego blades, you can get id blades which is dual blades). Otherwise, there's not much else in the darkness tree (I only have it for shadow embrace)

I was thinking of this combination.

In beta I had single blade and darkness. May look cool, but it's sucky in PVP. you do awsome dmg with darkness. But you cant hit anyone with swords. If I were you go Ego, if you want melee and magic.

My main guy so far is a Dual Blade, Supernatural, Darkness character. I tested him out in the Beta 40 Bump, and it worked out very nicely. I currently have him up to 14, and it is going beautifully.

The only change I made to this build so far is to replace Storm's Harvest with Condemn from supernatural. I realized that Condemn does a much better job at rooting, and is AOE.
