Multiple Preorder Locations

Hi, I preordered from both Amazon and GameStop, and I was able to input both preorder codes so that my account now shows the following:

Activated Features:
Champions Online Lifetime Subscription
Champions Online Preorder - Amazon
Champions Online Preorder - GameStop

What I want to do is activate both purchases on the same account, is this going to be possible?

Its not really "offical" but the email i got from gamestop with my headstart code /claims/ you could only activate one retail code.

Well, I would hope that spending $300 on CO before it's even launched, I would get the benefit of the two preorders without having to make a second (more paying) account. But if I can't, I can sell the game to a friend and just forgo the preorder rewards. It just sucks that I'd have to do that.

In the US the bonus Items are tied to the retail code. so to get all bonuses you would have to use the retail code from amazon and gamespot.

Yup, you need to enter the retail key from both retailers to get access to the items. :)

Okay, here's the clarification:

I was misinformed initially. You CAN apply multiple pre-order codes to an account. However, all unique items and costume pieces that are being distributed by retailers are only applied to your account through the retail box keys. Not through the Open Beta keys you'll receive when you preorder. So, if you want to earn all of the exclusive items and costume pieces, you'll actually need to purchase multiple copies of Champions Online. Just preordering and not picking up your copy of the game will not get you the items.

And I know the next question you're going to ask: If you apply multiple retail keys to one account, you WILL gain another 30 days of game time.

EDIT: Updated to change response. Purchasing multiple copies of the game WILL give you an additional 30 days of game time.

Correct, all you have to do is activate ONE retail key and it will unlock both sets of perks, regardless of where you buy the game.

Right all good news.. I know in the past they were only worried about LAN shared tried off one TEst key..
and wanted to help people with Buddy passes and contest so as many could get a chance to look at their baby... They wanted to make sure one key wasn't used at the same time on multi pcs.. but you could log in from a laptop at work and then log out and log i n to the home pc...

so as long as you have your username and a key your good to go.. enjoy!

that's why we can tease Cryptic from time to time but always be happy some issues just take a wee bit longer to resolve.
