Here is a list of a few things Id like to see.
GENERAL
There needs to be in options the standard mmo choice of auto deny/ignore all Team invites, Tells and/or Duel requests. This is a fairly standard MMO option, ytet its missing from CO. For me the duel one especially would be nice Im sick of getting duel requests every five feet.
TAGGING
This should apply to enemies AND quest givers that are unlocked via enemies (as with some escort questS) It should be if you hit it it counts for you, sure someone else can run in and WAIL on it but they only get a tiny bit of xp and it doesnt count for them for kills/quests/loot drops etc.. because I am SICK to death of people kill stealing and Quest stealing... I cannot begin to count how many times ive been doing a quest where i need a quest item drop or kill count etc.. and some tool has jumped in at the last minute when the enemy is on low health and killed it and then I not only dont get the kill counting for me, but to add insult injury the quest item drop, drops for them instead... its appalling, and what is worse it is bringing out the ABSOLUTe worst in some people who actually THINK its funny to do that to people, and then whine like babies when someone does it to them..
Also with those quests that only appear after the enemies around the quest giver have been dispatched either make it so EVERYONE can get the quest without it meaning only one person runs off with the quest giver, or make it so that only the person who tagged the nasties around the quest giver can get the quest (resetting after he moves out of range etc..)..because again Im sick of doing the fighting only to have some ****tard jump in and run off with the quest giver at the last minute.
If you make it so they dont BENEFIT from it, then they will STOP doing it... fairly common sensical I would have thought.
REASONABLE RESPEC PRICES
We seem to have gone silly with respec prices again which is not helpful as apparently the resource drops from kills and quests has bottomoed out to almost nothing too.. during beta admitedly resource gain was a bit too high, but now it is ridiculously low. and Retcon prices have gone back up to silly amounts, which I thought we had finally got sorted after MONTHs of calling for it to happen during Closed beta..
POWER REPLACERS
for what ever reason the Qularr Pistol power replacer does not work..but that aside I fail to see the points of Power Replacers that unclokc costume options on two very big counts.
1. If we cannot preview them in the tailor before paying to have them added to a costume, then that is very lame, in addition it makes recolouring them tantamount to closing your eyes and hoping for the best, seeing as you have no idea what colour is being applied to which bit of the power replacer until after you have paid to have it added to your costume..
2. If we equip a [power replacer it not only changes the look of the weapon and the effect of it, but also in many cases it gives it a new visual FX with it as well as quite often a new sound effect. HOWEVER if we go to the tailor and pay to have our default weapon replaced with the new unlocked model then why does it not have the visual FX and sound effect for that replacer also included? I
for example if I pay at a tailor to replace my standard pistols say with a Mingun Pistol, SURe it looks like a minigun pistol.. but it still fires the standard bullet effect of the normal pistols and still ameks the put put sound of the standard pistols, it does not have the muzzle flare of the minigun pistol replacer when equipped when used, nor does it make the minigun pistol sound effect when used.. and it SHOULD.
Obviouslt it should give us the damage type (particle, toxic, darkness or whatever), special effect (doT, area effect or whatever) that the ACTUAL power replacer does when equipped but it should give us the same visual firing FX and sound FX in either case.. otherwise paying to have them replaced at the tailors is fairly pointless..because it will look like a cannon buty sound like a pea shooter..and instead of cannon balls it will still be firing peas.
