Really this goes about anywhere, but specifically, at the R&D/vendors when I choose "Known/Available/Unavailable". Either save the preference I select or allow me to change the default views somewhere.
I don't even feel like typing out how incredibly annoying it is to have to re-check "Unavailable" EVERY single time I click on that vendor. Even if it's 5 times in a row. Save vendor, same game session, no intervening movement, other than to the work bench.
Basically this goes for anything/anywhere/anytime. Specifically trainers and my own personal "Powers" ("All Powers") menu. But the R&D specifically entails a lot of look, build, look, buy, build, look, research, look, buy, build, look, research. [Repeat pretty much ad infinitum.] All of that might take 12 seconds except that every single time I "look" I have to re-tell it that I only want to see stuff I can buy.
Incidentally, since we can't see the blueprints we're buying, why do we need to be able to browse 1-300 skill levels down the road by default? We can't see anything other than the title of an item! How does it help me to know that later I can buy something I have no idea what it is? (I don't even know what I'm buying now.)
Also, wouldn't a vendor (i.e., somebody who sells things for a living) default to "Here's what we have available on the menu today?" And not, "Here's a bunch of stuff I won't sell you. Have a nice day."
